Three."So sorry to interrupt, Princess, but how are some of the suspects lead to the disappearance? Some of them don't seem likely at all."
.Flashback.
I strutted through the golden brown leaves piled up on the floor. Sounds from my childhood had control over me while I was still walking. Every leaf I step on breaks. Just like me.
Flashbacks of the good times I had with my sister flashed upon me, making me stop. It felt like something was pushing me to fall backwards.
But I was strong enough to resist. I took a step back from.. something I wasn't sure of. I thought it was my bad mental state and my brain playing tricks on me. So I shrugged it off and kept walking into the woods. What has gotten into me lately? Well, of course Christina is going to take my place after all. It's not fair.
No one has ever respected my wishes, but I have no choice. I'll probably just move away. Yes, it's for the best. That something pushed me again, but much harshly. My body couldn't take it, so I fell on the leaves that delicately touch the earth. I was frightened and have thought of many dark scenarios like: somebody wanting to kill me, I've become insane, someone wants to hold me hostage or abuse me. I cursed under my breathe when I heard no sound but the loud whistling the wind made and the rustles of small animals passing.
I thought I was just overthinking too much and almost passed out. But the breathing behind me vanished that thought away.
I know this isn't my mind tricking me. I know someone's right there, or at least watching me.
After I assumed i wasn't crazy, i turned around in immediate matter. Nothing. I cautiously looked at my surrounding.
What's happening? Am I really ill?
I didn't know what was real or not anymore. The more I got confused, the more questions scream in my head. It wasn't Aaron. No, he's too far away. No one else would have known I was here. Even if they tried looking for me, they would have been walking near me and then sneak up to me with loud crunches of the fallen leaves.
"Princess,"
My heart jumped in panick as I heard the voice. The voice was delicate and harsh, mischievous but stern. My voice.
"Princess,"
As I heard it again, I was sure that it was my voice. But, why? Is this some kind of joke?
"This isn't a joke, Princess." I must be turning insane. Is this a voice inside my head? "Whom may this be?" I shouted, trying not to let out any fear.
"Don't you recognise yourself?"
"What?" My eyes widen with more sudden fear.
"Look behind you." I hesitated when turning around."I'm sorry but suspects aren't permitted to know any private business....
Nor anyone at this stage."
"I understand and respect your wishes."What's wrong with me?
