A little girl she was four almost five in a day but her parents died of cancer. so she was brought into adoption but she doesn't accept it or trust her new family. One day She forgot to do homework and her step father slapped her face with a belt, so she grabbed all her belongings, went to call the police and when he answered it was a nice man "9-11 what's your emergency?." She cried "O-officer My step dad abused me!." The officers head nods "where's your address sweetie?." She cried "Uh 172 west avenue and please hurry! He is scaring me." The officer got his car keys and got back up "Kid I promise I'll be there as fast as possible, what is your name?." He sighed "M-my name is faith." She tried to stop crying and the officer sighs again "bye bye now I'll be there." She whimpers "promise me you will." She said scared and the officer sighs once again "I Promise." She hung up and called the adoption and said that she was abused, the step father was arrested, she was brought back to the adoption With bruised and cuts from her step dad that beats her with a belt and his switch blade, the police arrived and when Faith was outside On the porch crying her  eyes out and the police officer that answers the phone call bent on his knee and lifts her chin up "I'd promise I'd be here." She looked up at him with tears staining her cheek and she cried more "you came!." She hugged the policeman tightly and whimpers "w-will he be gone for a long time?." He shook his head  "Yes but you'll be okay." He took a pen and wrote his number down "contact me and I'll be there." She smiled "okay." Soon she was brought to the adoption by the officer. *the adoption* Her friend Trenton was 7 he would Visit Faith and make her laugh and blush and they'd tell embarrassing stories in. There past life. When Trenton seen her scratch on her arm he began to be shocked "what happened to your arm!?." His eyes widened and she broke her silence "My step Father abused me..." She stays quiet but Trenton hugs her tightly "If I were with you when that happened I'd call the police or Here." She hugs him back "I did call the police and then here." Trenton pulled away and holds her shoulders so she faced him "Just promise me your my best friend that I can depend on." She looked him straight in the eyes "I promise." She didn't lie to him, then near twelve they stayed asleep.

The officer cared about Faith and didn't want to leave her and Trenton alone at the adoption anymore, he spoke to the adoption Manager to adopt Faith and Trenton, They allowed him to adopt then. He walked outside and stays on the porch and when Trenton and Faith got out faith had the brightest smile she had when he adopted them. Soon the officer helps them get luggage into his car and Help them with there seat belts "How about q quick lunch?." He said with a smile and both Trenton and Faith  agrees he drove Off to a fast food place and got them a meal that they picked out. The officer paused and looked at the kids "I have an older son and he Works with me at the police department and he'll keep you two safe when I'm not around, understand?." They both said yes at different timings.
