Chapter 5: Leaving Home.
I followed Master, obediently, leaving a two step gap between us. The lead hung loosely as he made no attempt to pull me along.
We exited the brick building, my home, my shelter. The sun's bright rays made collapse. Head spinning.
“Ahhh!!”
I screamed in pain as my body trembled. I covered my sensitive eyes trying to block out the sun brightness. Suddenly, the lead was pulled roughly, making me gag hard. Master realized I had fallen.
His face was hard as he approached me. I kept screaming.
“What is the matter already!? Come on!”
I tried my hardest to obey. I really did. I tried opening my eye, blinking fast. The pain was worse. Tears ran down my cheeks. Please make it stop.
Please!
I heard a rough and angered sigh come from above me. Master hands gripped my forearm hard. He didn't try to help me stand. He dragged me.
If the pain couldn't get any worse, it did. I screamed louder trying to get him to give me mercy. He didn't release me. My energy became thin and I stopped trying.
POP!
I've never screamed that loud before I blacked out.
