"Can you tell us what happened?" An officer with blonde hair says. "I was coming home from work and went to my house. He came in when I was gone and when I got there he surprised me" I tell feeling the memory creep up. My mind wonders. I open my door and its pitch black inside. I stick my head in and find the light. Switching it on and off I can't get the light to come on. Fuck another light shortage. I make my way to my room by feeling up the walls. When I reach it the door is already open. I remember closing it but it must of opened when I left. Not thinking too much about it I go into my room and cut the light on noticing it won't cut either. "Figured out how to cut off your lights. Fascinating huh?" A voice says making me jump almost out of my pants. The memory fades and I'm back in the room with the officers. "Tell us exactly what happened" they say at the same time. "I did". He sits on my dresser but I can barely see him. Grabbing my phone I turn on the light to see a man in a white hoodie and black jeans. He has his hood on but he looks young until I see his face. I almost drop my phone. "ISN'T IT!" He yells and i step backwards. His eyes narrow at me his eyes are cut or something because they have no eyelids. His cheeks are slit open and there's blood on his clothes. His hair is shredded but normal like it hasn't been washed in years. "What's your name kid?" He asks. When I was about to tell him he pulls out a rag. "NAME!" He yells stepping closer. "Addilynn! Addilynn! Don't hurt me!" I say covering my face. "Well Addilynn you and I, heh were gonna have lots of fun together" he says stepping forward. I start towards the door only for him to grab my arm and shove me against the wall with a huge kitchen knife against my throat. "No, no were not gonna run are we?" He says putting.. the rag over my face. I see nothing but his evil grin and stare before I black out. I come back to reality and see the two officers exchange looks. "Do you know how he got in your home?" The female ask. "No he was there on my dresser when I shined my light on him" I say. "Was Jeff violent to you?" She asks. I look at her what kind of question is that? " do you not see my face? I have swollen cheeks and eyes, busted lips?" I shout. They look at each other once more. "Were going to enroll you in the witness protection program and you'll have to have no contact with anyone that will keep him away from you" the male cop says finally speaking up. Oh yeah like that'll stop him. I've seen him kill bigger guys then him and take on six cops at once. The officers leave the room. They leave me alone just like he did. A cold room with a pale light. My stomach churns
