tony was shaking as he walked to the door, clutching his face in his hands as he sighed. he looked up--well down--at the man.
"i-i thought-"
"you thought very strong sir." gilbert spoke softly and hugged his waist. "i know you love me and i love you too much to hate you, remember?"
tony fell to his knees and let his hand grace his cheek, gilbert kissing tony's forehead. "i don't deserve this."
"do you want me to walk out that door again?" gilbert let go, pursing his lips.
"not at all," he croaked with the voice he had left. "please, i'll do anything."
"i adore you."
gilbert looked up. "show me. prove to me."
