Why was she running?
A little girl who looked about three, but was six, was running from a monster, or her big sister.
She was the black sheep of Evans family. Her name was Ebony Evans, a child to the Healing Witch Catherine Evans and Combat Mage Auckland Evans. Her sister, Aurora, was the apple of her parents eyes.
The only person Ebony liked was Soul, her cousin. She was saddened by the fact that he was a weapon and she wasn't.
After escaping from her sister, she ran to the orphanage. Claiming that her family was killed, she was then adopted by the Black family and changed her name to Jade.
But her happiness was never meant to last.
Monsters attacked her new family. All that was left were their mangled corpses, dead monsters and a girl howling in rage.
The girl finally had a family to love. But they were ripped from her grasp.
That night, as the new moon reached its peak in the sky, she made a promise: she would kill every last monster on Earth so no one would feel her pain ever again....
