"What's with the hair band around you're wrist?"

What I want to say:

Mum, it's been a few months, how do you not know this already. You know what I'll tell you and you better listen. I'm distracting myself from getting a knife and start cutting my skin. You know why, because I don't want to end up like all those people who killed themselves when they could have become someone with a wonderful life. Are listening to me, Mum, do you understand that it isn't a stupid phase?

For those of you who think I'm suicidal..I'm not.

Yes, I have been thinking about the future. Basically, that's the reason why I started wearing a band on my wrist. So whenever I'm stressed, thinking about stuff I shouldn't be thinking yet, trying to wake up, bored, or just because I can, I'll pulled the band back and let it hit my skin.
