Chp5: Reason

She was feeling awkward to share with him why she runs away from marriage?
afterall he is a stranger!!
she has not discussed this with her dad or ishu di also!!
what if he makes fun of her??
what if he thinks she is mad??
but now she didn't had any option rather then sharing with him orelse he won't let her stay here!!

"Promise me you won't laugh" she forwarded her hand for promise
"why so??
if that's funny I won't be able to control" he chuckled
"fine then I won't tell" she turned in anger
"ok ok promise" he said
"fine...
I run away from marriage coz
.
.
m scared of it" she said in one go

He looked at her with confusion
"scared??
but why??"

She looked here & der
"the reason might sound silly or you may think m wierd
but
m scared coz after marriage
umm... *fumbles*
m scared of physical intimacy" she said & turned around in embarrassment

He may think its silly reason & laugh on her!!
a girl like her is scared of that thing??
no one will believe
but its true many girls get scared thinking about the physical intimacy with der partners
mostly when its an arrange marriage!!

He tapped her shoulder..
she turned back to him
"I don't know what to say??
but are you sure this is the only reason?? coz ppl usually get scared of that if any incident has happened related to that like
hmm..
you are getting na what m trying to say??" he asked
She gulped hard..
her eyes displayed fear
"Once a guy tried to molest me when I was in school
I was successful in running away from him
but that fear didn't leave me!!
it still haunts me
coz of that I never had a bf also!!
m cool with this relationships flirting & all but when it comes to that I get scared
I can run away now
but if I get married I can't run away from my hubby right??
& what will I tell him??
what will I tell my dad why I am like this??
so that's the reason I run away everytime!!" she explained

she never shared this with anyone but now after sharing with him she felt good..
she looked at him who was already staring at her with mixed emotions
not knowing what to say or do?
she chuckled
"M fine no need to give that wierd looks"

but to her surprise he juz hugged in response..
"M sorry for asking that I juz wanted to know why you are like this" he apologized

"It's okk" she tried to break the hug but he didn't let her do so
"All I can say is running away is not the solution
how long you will run like this??" he asked the fact

He is right
but still its not that easy
she closed her eyes & hugged him back

After few mins she broke the hug..
"So now you will let me stay here right??" she asked
"Ya" he smiled & decided to help her

You can't keep on running away from your fears
at some point in life you would have to build up courage to face
& overcome them
