A Simple Kiss

My head was spinning with a few words.
Such small little things made me see birds.
White little doves encircled my head.
All it took was a few words said.

I waited quite a while to hear "I love you"
You don't understand the magnitude do you?
Even still I lie in wait and hope, praying.
Yet, like a rope my strings are fraying.

We dated for a week only.
Since then I've tried to not be lonely.
Stupid little pleasures satisfy my evil soul.
Sometimes I want your head in a bowl!
The way you left me hurt.
Excuse me if I'm curt.
The voices whisper rhymes.
They make me think of past times.

My soul has been pacified.
It took no one being crucified.
The initial pain is gone.
Its been years and I still hear your song.
Call me obsessed and crazy with this silly little rhyme.
