I got through the rest of the morning without anymore depressed teachers. My schedule isn't too packed, but getting around this giant high school is a struggle at times. Most people were willing to help; I should've known that not everybody is ethical. It all tarted when I was trying to get to my sixth period Drama class. I had gotten lost in a river of people, steering me farther and farther from room 546. When the halls finally cleared I was by the 300 rooms, which also happened to be by the girl's bathroom where the cheerleaders hangout. (aka. the three girls from earlier)  I decided to muster up the courage to ask them for directions. I faintly tapped on one of the three blonde's shoulder.

"Hello, I'm new here and I was hoping that you could help me find-"

"EW, It's talking to me!" the girl whined while her friends giggled.

"Wow, you're sooo original. Just give me directions and I'll be out of your obviously dyed hair."

"Excuse you! I am a natural blonde!"

"Good for you. Now where is room 546?"

"It thinks that it can speak to me? What gives it the right?"

"Listen Blondie! I've out up with too many preps today! Where is the-"

"Get out of my face!" she pushed me causing my books and binders to fall to the ground.

"Whoah, whoah, whoah," a boy my age said as he ran in our direction. He had dark hair, brown eyes lined with eye liner, tan skin, and was wearing: red skinny jeans with a black belt, yellow high tops, and  a navy green button up. Those shoes were definitely an...interesting combination.

"Are you okay?" he helped me up and picked up my books and binders

"Are you okay?" he helped me up and picked up my books and binders.

"I'll be fine, thanks," I took my things from him.

"Petey," the blonde whined," why did you help that THING up?" He smiled at me then turned to his, I'm guessing girlfriend. He may have ugly shoes (in my opinion), but he's kinda cute.

"What's wrong with you, Tiffany? Why would you hurt the new kid on her first day?" he yelled.

"Petey, you don't understand," grabbed onto 'Petey's' arm, "people like us can't be seen with savages like it. That's just the circle of life."

"No, Tiffany, I don't understand," he untangled himself from her, "you're mean to Patrick, Joe, and Andy. My three best friends, and now you're putting down the new girl? When I started going out with you, I thought you wee a cool, hot cheerleader, but nowI see you true colors and I don't like what I see. I'm breaking up with you, Tiffany. Goodbye," he walked to me, "come with me."

I followed Petey down the hall as the girl screamed, "I don't need you anyway. I can get plenty of hot guys."

He took me by the hand, "Oh yeah? So can I!" he yelled back. I giggled.

"So what's you real name, Petey, "I clung onto his arm. He laughed.

"It's Pete."

"I'm Ray."

"It's nice to meet you. Why did you decide to talk to Tiffany?"

"I was asking for diretions to Drama class."

"Oh, i can walk you there if you'd like. Give me your things, I'll carry them for you."

"It's okay. You don't have to do that."

"No, really, let me see them," he grabbed them while I still had my grip on them.

"It's okay, really," I smiled.

"I know how to make you drop them," he smirked and repeatedly poked me in the stomch. I squealed and dropped my books.

"Okay, okay, you win!" I giggled.

"Victory!" he held the books over his head and ran down the hall.

"Hey!" I chased him down the hall up a spiral stair case. I was out of breath by the time I caught him.

"Here's *pant* your *pant* Drama class. Room 546." he said.

"Thanks Petey," I twirled my hair and he smirked.

"It's Pete," he poked me in the side. I giggled and grabbed his hand.

"I know we just met, but would you wanna hang out with me after school? I have band practice if you wanna hear us."

"Okay, sure! You don't look like the type that would be in a school's band. Do you play the clarinet or something?"

He busted out laughing while I just stood there watching his break down.

"No, I'm in my own band. I'm the bassist and lyricist."

"Oh, well, that sounds a little more accurate." I blushed.

"Meet me outside by the oak tree."

"Um, okay."

"Bye, Ray."

"Bye, Pete."
