She is finally on the dot and tells everything that can probably suck his life out of him. He listens to everything she has to say, calmly. She could see the worry lines taking over the once handsomely smiling delight. She expresses her inability to be with him, telling him how much he means to her and how she cannot make him suffer for something he does not even know about. At that moment, his heart does break. But he exhibits extreme composure, something she wasn't prepared for. She wasn't sure of anything that could happen ahead. She suddenly felt guilty for all everything- for having let things come this far, for having fallen in love which had no way out to reach its destination, for shattering someone's hopes like a weary sand castle. Next what happens is the unthinkable. He does not let go of her and gives her the tightest hug ever showing how much he is ready to take on the pain from within her. There is no trace of shock whatsoever on that handsome face. He had loved her not for her handy physical traits, but for the beautiful soul that she possessed. He loved her not for the tangible pleasures any guy looked for, but for the flawless flow of confidence within her which could intoxicate any man in her love. He wanted to make every second spent with her a memorable look-back.
As the beautiful night was coming to an end, he stays up to see her fast asleep. He smiles like an idiot each time he looks at her. He hugs her tight and kisses her on her forehead, falling asleep in her arms.
She suddenly wakes up and is in the tight embrace of his arms. At that moment, all she could do was just wish to wake up everyday to those enchanting eyes, endearing hugs, loving stares and the all-consuming love. She could see how much he loved her, truly and completely. She experiences enlightening calmness and is at peace with herself. She can feel the tears running down her rosy cheeks. A sudden pain shoots up from within and she is unable to move. She hold her chest tight and as she feels something inside blasting, she smiles and buries her head into his chest. She knew her time had come. She passes away slowly in that very embrace to which she wished to wake up each morning.
In the morning, he is shocked and he, so, wants to get her back. He does not cry, he just holds her close to his heart fighting back the tears that stream down his whiskers. At that moment he remembers something. He is now filled with regret. He had forgotten to say how much he loved her. He had forgotten to speak his heart out to her. He wanted to bring her back to life so he could share all the unsaid words and unearth all the buried happiness. He so wished he could tell her every word of it. As he is blinded by the tears of regret, he sees a blurry figure in front of him, he wipes his tears away. He sees her. The same beautiful face, the prettiest smile and the most charming eyes. As he desperately tries holding on to it, it only turns out to be a disappointing mirage, leaving him a regret- an unforgiving regret to carry for the rest of his life! He only wished he had confessed his love earlier to "the dearest and most beautiful girl" he had ever met in his life.
