Joshua--

The name is Josh. Not Joshua, Joshy, or anything else. Just Josh. I'm 15, and live in Charlotte, North Carolina. I live with my big brother Ryan in an apartment at the Aloft hotel. Pretty sick hotel in my opinion. But that's not the point, my mom is gone, taken by the Drones. Dad is gone too, ran off soon after I was born.

Now we live on our own, my brother and I in a big city. I'm not complaining though, my brother is a graphic designer that makes a decent amount. Who am I kidding? We live in Aloft for gods sake.

My life was pretty great until my mom got taken by the Drones. That's the day I discovered my powers. We used to live in a house in rural Philadelphia. But then the first one came and ruined our lives. So now we are here. We moved where there is lots of other people.

I now know that my "power" is fire. I can control it and create it. Also, I am unusually strong. I could lift a 250 pound dumbbell with one arm. Cool right? My brother always calls me a brute, but I don't care, I can still punch him harder.

Ryan--

My name is Ryan. I'm 18 and live with my brother in Charlotte, North Carolina. In a hotel called aloft, as you probably know. Since my little brother probably told the whole story to you I'm just going to skip to the end.

My power is water. Also, I think I'm beginning to get some electricity mixed in. Probably because I have come of age to get a new one. Yeah, it depends on age, every six years you attain a new power. Don't ask me why! It just works.

I don't know what Josh said about being "stronger." But I do know this, he'll be lucky to land a punch.

That's not the point though. The Drones are still at large and we have to destroy them, or they will wipe us out. Yes, I said us, there are many of us trying to hide our powers from them. We have a few friends, but it's mostly a free for all when it comes to surviving against the Drones.

Oh and I forgot to mention...

You know the Drones, well I kind of...

Created them.
