     'It was a regular day, a regular mission, then how did it go so wrong?' Wally thought they were doing so good till scarecrow showed up. And decided to rip out his deepest fears, and make them real, now robin was on his knees in horrifying fear, out of the speedster's reach.

     It all began as a simple day at the mountain, wally and rob were playing video games in which wally insisted that the boy had hacked the game for the fifth time today. "Dude come on, your totally hacking the system I know you are!" The hacker just laughed shoving wally's arm trying to throw him off balance and the speedster shoved back. Robin giggled which grabbed the speedster's attention and he smiled and continued shoving, simply because he enjoyed the boy's warmth against him and his laugh melted his heart. This continued for a while till wally started poking him and rob bit his lip "ooooh is someone ticklish?" He asked in a sing songy voice "no I am no- AAAAH HAHAHA- WALLY STOP!"
     He pounced on the boy and tickled his sides, making him laugh histerically till he was in tears, but he soon stopped letting the boy catch his breath and rob was still giggling till he looked up. Wally had stopped laughing and looked at the boy, he was straddling his waist proped up on his elbows nose to nose with the boy. "R-rob I-" but the moment was short lived when batman's voice came up on the speakers "Batman to team, we have an ergent call, the injustice league are in gotham city park, get your uniforms on NOW" wally groaned but quickly got up and was about to leave when robin grabbed his shirt and pecked his lips, and before wally gould respond the boy was gone.

(Le time skip to gotham)

     By the time wally had arrived to gotham city park, the battle had already insued. Ivy had grown many trees within the park's boundaries and had made an arena in the middle, where aqualad dueled count vertigo, superboy dueled gorilla grod, and miss martian was fighting klarion while robin fought......the JOKER?! Wally had begun to think his friend had lost his mind, robin was jumping, dodging, blocking, and delivering very few hits to match how many was being thrown at him. Wally sped forward into action, ramming into the clown knocking him a few feet away as he went to stand beside robin, "you certainly took your time" rob said with a grin, wally smiled before replying "what can I say, I like to make an entrance" and with that the battle continued on.
    
     Despite having a good start on the situation at hand, the team found themselves losing majorly, despite their best efforts. Aqualad soon came to a decision and yelled into his comm link, "WE ARE GETTING NOWHERE, WE NEED BACKUP, CONTACT THE LEAGUE!" Robin got the message and pressed a button on his belt, "talk" a low voice said "BATS, WERE IN SOME DEEP SHIT, WE NEED BACKUP!" Robin yelled into his comm while dodging blows from the joker "Rodger that were on our way" was the response.
     But all too soon the situation inevitably got worse,"HAHAHAHAHA Hey kids I got somebody you'd like to meet, BRING EM OUT CROW OLD BOY HEHEHEHEHEEE!!!" The two knew what he meant and it wasn't gonna be good. Just as batman, flash, martain manhunter, aquaman, and superman arrived a chopper was flying in the air and joker hopped in and taking his place was the one and only Scarecrow himself. "What do you want crane!" Batman demanded as wally stood close beside the dark knight's ward.

     He let out a deep errie cackle that sent chills down wally's spine, and a black bird perched on his shoulder with glowing yellow eyes. "I'm here to scare you, tear apart the sidekick team by making you experience the one think that tears a man apart.......desperation" he paused as poison ivy stood beside him. He glanced at wally who had placed himself protectively in front of robin, and he sneered "Starting with YOUR SON!" All of a sudden trees started to grow out of the ground batman ran to his ward but was stopped by ivy's thick vines blocking his way, seperating the leaguers from their protégés. Soon the dark night found himself trapped in the barrier of brush with kid flash, who was calling out robin's name and desperately throwing punches repeatedly at the plants, but to no avail.
     Whereas robin's barrier was plenty bigger and looked like a forest, he couldn't hear or see his team, and it scared him. On the team's side they could see robin and hear him, but couldn't speak to him, the walls of plants lowered except for robin's. "Watch desperately as your little bird crumbles with fear against my jabberjay's, a bird that can perfectly copy anything, and swarm in hundreds, enough to drive even the most collected heroes mad with fear"

     Robin was standing still spinning in circles, hand near his belt in case he needed to defend himself. "DICK!!!" He froze and looked beside him did he really just hear his mother's voice, 'was it really?'. His thoughts were cut short when he heard his mother  again "Mom!?" He paused for a second "RICHARD!!!" That was all he needed to hear, he took off to the direction of the voice. "RICHARD, BABY!!!" "MOM!!!" he stopped and looked up, there where he heard her voice he saw a bird and knew what it was. "YOU COULD HAVE SAVED US, RICHARD HEL-!!!!" *thunk* he had heard enough so he took a batarang and struck the bird down. Robin knew what these birds are, he stole one of scarecrow's files on a mission once, they were Jabberjays, able to copy anyone or anything, even people who were dead. He was panting deeply and had just realized that he had been crying, all of a sudden he heard his name being called, he turned and saw that it was flash.
     "Robin, you ok lil man?" Rob nodded his head "I don't have super speed, I think at some point they tagged me" flash said concern in his voice "it's ok so long as we get out of-" they heard a scream "AAAAH BARRY!!!", "is that Iris?!" Rob asked but he caught a glimps of a pair of wings "IRIS?!" "BARRY HELP ME!!!!" Flash followed the sound "FLASH NO!" robin yelled and ran after him. He finally caught up to the leaguer and stopped in front of him "BARRY it's not her, ok it's just a jabberjay!" Untill barry interupted him "Where do you think they got that sound, huh? Jabberjay's copy" flash said in a serious tone

     The team had pulled up a holographic live video feed of barry and robin watching it all happen with worry. They watched as another voice was heard "ROB HELP, AAAAH!!!" and robin whirled around "Wally!?" Then they looked up and watched as scarecrow had entire cages full of jabberjays. "YOU WOULDN'T DARE!!" wally yelled completely outraged at what this monster was doing to his little robin. And with a sly grin all the cages opened at once and all they saw was the two heroes running in their direction.

     Without warning jabberjays swarmed all around robin and flash, screaming out voices of people they knew and it was making robin terrified. "OH SHIT, ROBIN RUN!" barry yelled and grabbed robin's arm and starting to run with the boy hot on his tail. The team spoted them and barry made it back first thinking robin was behind him, and he was way to far behind, wally used his speed to get his friend but not even stepping a foot in front of him was an invisible bubble separating them both. Wally tried banging on the bubble to warn rob, but it was too late, the boy ran full speed into the barrier a petrified look plastered on his face. Everyone watched as batman became outraged at scarecrow and lunged at him, but quickly got a hammer to the face by harley quinn. Everyone quickly turned their attention to kf who's words were desperately trying to reach robin, superboy, superman, and flash were giving all they got into breaking that bubble but to no avail. Scarecrow must have wanted them to suffer, cause all wally heard were his robin's cries for help and saw tears running down his face.
     "ROB, ROB IT'S OK IT'S OK" but robin was still banging on the barrier callin his name, it was then he realized he couldn't hear wally, and he felt alone. "ROB IT'S OK THERE JUST BIRDS,IT'S NOT REAL!!!" mgann started to cry and the dark knight's fury only grew. "ROB PLEASE! it's not real i'm here, it's not-" wally watched as the light of his life was drowned in terror, all he could do was fall on his knees beside him, his head against the force field and listen to Robin's pained cries as he gave up, cluched both sides of his head and screamed.
