Chapter 7

Blackout pov

I sigh as I watched Moon trying to shoot an arrow with Qibli helping her. Carnelian was beside me tapping her hoof very inpatient with our clawmates. "When will they hurry up," Carnelian mumble. "Don't worry,I bet they will hurry up soon. Just be patient Carnelian," I said to her. As soon as I said that Moon shot the arrow.
"Finally! Moon score now so now Winter and Kinkajou are running. And then when they finish going around for four times we will go. Soon we will cross the finish line we will win this round as well!" Carnelian said very excited. "Don't get to excited Carnelian you know the other team can still win," I answer her. "Yeah I guess you're right,"she answered back to me.
After Winter and Kinkajou finish their second run in their roller skates the Wondercolts catch up. The purple mare and pink mare were skating really fast. Very fast. "Nooooooooooo! Maybe we will lose this round!" Carnelian said. Then Winter and Kinkajou did something we didn't even plan.
Kinkajou nodded to Winter who grabbed her tail and started to spinning them around. Soon Winter let go of her tail and Kinkajou earn a new speed. The Wondercolts and Kinkajou cross the finish line at the same time. That only mean one thing.
I quickly open my wings and flew with Carnelian on my side. The rainbow mare and Sunset can barely blink before they were left in the dust that we created. They catch up very quickly with us and then they were all flying side by side. Soon we all saw the finish line and started flying even faster. The schools were screaming telling us to finish the race to win the round. Each one of us push another burst of speed when the finish line came even closer.
I watched as the finish line came closer and closer to us. I only had one though before we cross the finish line.

I wonder who will win this round?
