The night guard sighed at the sound of Wolfie's slightly raspy, yet energetic voice. "Not much of a talker, huh?" The white wolf said, letting out a soft chuckle. The night guard mumbled something under her breath; it was barely even audible. "What's that? I didn't quite hear ya, sweetheart." Wolfie then motioned her hand, acting as if she didn't hear a single thing the guard said. The night guard looked at Wolfie, her purple eyes coldly staring at the white animatronic. After a few moments, she spoke, "I said I needed the money to support my family." Her voice was soft, but could send chills up anyone's spine, even an animatronic. Wolfie cringed a little at the sound of her voice, 'So sweet, but filled with hate, Jesus..' Wolfie thought to herself. "Rough life, huh?" She then asked. The night guard turned away.
Meanwhile, Mimi and Pompom had finally reached the supply closet. The two had gotten as much cleaning supplies as they could. "Ready?" Mimi calmly stated, and Pompom vigorously nodded her head, her small puppy ears wiggling with joy. "Ooh, ooh!" Pompom raises her hand, trying her best not to drop anything. Those were some dangerous chemicals, after all. "What is it, sweetie?" Mimi asked Pompom. "Can we make a game out of it?" The Pomeranian replied back, excitement in the robot's tone. "Erm, how could we do that?" Mimi contemplated. Pompom cheerfully replied, "Maybe make it a race!" "Okay, a race it is." Mimi calmly said. "First one to finish their jobs wins!!" Pompom shouted as she darted off and started cleaning the dining area. Mimi let out a sigh, as she set some cleaning supplies down carefully and started cleaning. She knew that unlike Pompom, she cleans thoroughly at a decent pace; Pompom on the other hand would think that where she cleaned was clean, even though there would still be some visual spots of dirt and grime where she cleaned. Mimi knew that cleaning and teaching kids how to clean was her job, after all, it's what she was programmed to do. But, she couldn't argue with someone as innocent as Pompom.
While the cleaning competition was happening, it was now close to the night guard's shift to end. Wolfie kept trying to start up a conversation with the guard, but she wouldn't listen. Wolfie was a tad bit curious on that the night guard's name was, so whenever she got the chance, she tried to read the name tag that was on the guard's work uniform. After a while of trying, Wolfie finally got to read the night guard's name tag, noticing the name tag only read 'Anne.' "Hey, Anne!" Wolfie shouted to the night guard, now known as Anne. Anne ignored her. "Anne? Aaaaaaannnnne! Hello?! Anybody home?" Wolfie kept calling to Anne, knocking on the glass window, trying her best to be careful with it, and not break the window. Wolfie knew that she had caused previous incidents because of knocking on the glass. After a few minutes, the bell rang, announcing it was 6 AM, noting that the night shift has officially ended, and that it's time for the animatronics to get ready to take on another challenging day with the children. Anne swiftly walked out of the small office, and slowly paced through the building, heading outside, and back to her home. Wolfie, Pompom, and Mimi got into their spots, and got ready to perform.
