Phone?

Chapter 1
"Hmm, I'll probably pack up all my things for tomorrow so I can have more time tomorrow morning to be on my phone." Sophia thought on a Saturday night, while sitting on her bed, and just finished texting her friend. Sophia spent more time on planning her phone usage than doing her homework.
Her mom is really smart, and is a teacher so she is very mad about her daughter who doesn't do her homework. Sophia doesn't think that being on her phone is a problem, she thinks that it's a way for her to be free, and her mom strongly disagree with her.
A lot of times her teachers talked to her parents because of her participation and behavior in class are really bad.
"Why do we assign homeworks?" said mom," It's there for a reason, it's for a reason, it's for you to practice at home, so you won't forget everything by the time you go to class tomorrow." Mom hates it when Sophia doesn't do her homework.
Mom is a strict teacher, and it's probably one of the reason why Sophia hates homework.
"See your grades here, come quick!" shouted mom while her face is turning red, "What are my expectations? IT's at least all B's, what do you have here, C's, D's, F's!!!"
Mom couldn't accept Sophia's attitude towards her school works, every time she has these kind of conversations with Sophia, she'll cry, she doesn't get why Sophia still doesn't understand why school is important for her, for everyone.
Sophia's teachers let Sophia stay after school everyday for her benefit, to make up test grades, and have some private lessons since she doesn't pay attention in class.
Sophia ignores everything that her teachers, and family did for her. She thinks that her phone is her family, and it can help her through everything, and as long as you charges it, you get to use it.
Chapter 2
"Hey! You wanna hangout this Sunday?" Sophia's friend, Alex texted her.
"Is there wifi? I need "good" wifi" Sophia texted back.
"Dunno, I didn't check" Alex texted back.
Sophia thinks about it for a while. She decided to not reply for a while.
"Soph, time to do your homework!" mom shouted from the kitchen.
"There's no homework!" Sophia shouted back.
"Really?! Let me call your teacher and check." mom said because she doesn't believe Sophia.
"Doo-Doo-Doo-doo..." The phone made that sound when mom pressed the school's telephone number.
Sophia doesn't really care about mom asking the teachers, because she could just say that she forgot that they had that homework.
Mom was thinking about whether she wants Sophia to homeschool or not, because if Sophia homeschools, then her mom can easily control all of her school works, and help her with some of her problems.
Chapter 3
"Sophia!!" mom shouted as loud as she could. "Your behavior, participations are unacceptable in school. I don't expect you to be number one in school, but could you at least try, and do all of the work that you can. If you have any questions, I'm a teacher! Come ask me! I can teach you!" Mom's face turns red again. Sophia still doesn't care.
"Mom! I don't have any questions! I just simply don't wanna do the work! It's unnecessary, because I already failed!!" Sophia said back with a pain on her face.
"Looks like she really hates homework, and school. How about homeschool? Will that work better?" Mom thinks with silence.
"Fine, go upstairs and do your work, or else I'll smash your phone." mom said. "And this is your last warning. I really will smash your phone. I already talked to your dad."
Chapter 4
"Sophia, get down here with your phone!!" mom shouted, her face suddenly burnt red. "So, today I'm going to smash your phone in front of you, so that you get and remember this punishment."
"Mom~~ Please don't smash my phone. I promise this is my last time. I will use my phone in a correct way! I promise!" Sophia begged her mom.
"How many times have you said that? I just couldn't accept the way you behave with your phone." mom said back trying not to be too softhearted. "Give me your phone." mom said calmly.
After 2 seconds. Sophia doesn't want to give her phone.
"GIVE ME YOUR PHONE!!" mom shouted loud enough that the neighbors could hear them.
Sophia gave her phone to her mom like she doesn't want to.
Mom took a breathe, swinged her arm up , and swing down, the phone dropped on the ground.
"OMG! That phone is new, why do you have to do that? It all cost money!" Sophia said looking at pieces of her phone lying on the ground.
"If that would make you a better person, I'm willing to pay as many phones." mom said, relieved.
"Finally, I did it!" mom thinks, actually happy because she thinks that it would make Sophia happier.
Sophia was frustrated, so stumped up the stairs, and shut herself in her room. She didn't get out there for a couple days.
After the weekend is over, Sophia thinks about all she've been doing recently. On Tuesday morning, 6:00 AM. Sophia decided to step out of her room, grab everything she need for school, and went on without anyone's help.
