The War Begins

Hey. It's Tsubomi here. Sorry for the late update guys, but, here's the next chapter

Akari's POV

When my mom and i finished baking, I went to play with winter in the back yard. I was there for about thirty minutes when I heard screaming coming from the house.

"Mother. MOTHER!"

I shouted and I ran back inside to find that my mom and dad were frozen in a purplish crystal. "what's going on here?" I asked myself. I went up to the crystal and was about to touch it when someone grabbed my hand. I looked up to see a man in a blue long sleeve shirt with a black pants. His hair had a violet color and it was long to the center of his back and tied into a ponytail. His eyes was a forest green color, and it seems to capture me.

"You shouldn't touch it. Its dangerous." He said in an angry tone.

"Why, why can't I touch it?" I wondered in my head. As if he could read my mind, he answered, "You'll be frozen in a crystal like them and feel more pain as well." I didn't know what he was talking about, but its like I understand. "Okay. What are we going to do then?" I asked him while I was looking at my parents in the crystal. "I'll handle it because you humans don't know what to do. Just step back." He said frowning. "Wait, did he say 'you humans.' But isn't he a human to?"

"Wait what do you mean 'humans can't handle it'? I asked him.

He was frozen for a couple of seconds before answering.

He turned to me and said,"You won't understand but just step back." And then he push me back gently.

What happened next scared me. He held our his hands, said some language I didn't understand and the crystal broke. Just like that my parents fell to the ground.

"W-what are you?" I asked stepping away from him. He didn't say anything, he just looked down. "Well, well, well. Isn't it the little warrior. Ohh and who's this? Is she you little friend?" A strange harpy voice said.

We looked up frightened and saw a lady in a dark blue dress that was too revealing. Her hair had a dirty blonde color and her eyes were brown. 'Sh-she's floating in mid air!? How is she doing that!?' I thought looking at her confused.
"Why are you here?" The man asked the lady fiercely. "I'm not here for you, star boy. I'm here for her." The lady pointed at me. "Me?" I asked confused still. She looked at me like I'm crazy, then she started to laugh historically. "Yo-you don't have the slightest clue, do you?" She said while laughing and holding her head. "Oh how exciting this must be!" (Anyone knows where that came from?) She shouted. "Now enough talking, I'll just take you since you don't have you powers yet."

I felt myself getting dizzy. "W-what are you doing to me?" I asked while I held my head. Then a major headache pounded in my head and I couldn't stand up anymore.

"AHHH!" I screamed. It felt like someone was drilling my head. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO HER!? I heard the man shouted. "Nothing. I'm just putting her out of her misery." The lady said. I could fell his anger rising for some reason.

Everything was a blur for a few minutes. When I came to, they were fighting each other. Attacks were flying everywhere but there was a barrier surrounding me and my parents. I wasn't paying attention when heard a loud explosion. When I looked, I saw the man hurling towards me. I stood up and caught him.

When I caught him, I saw the woman creating a large orb of purple fire.

"DIE!" She shouted. On instinct, I got up and placed out my hand upwards. When she fired the purple order, I shouted unknowingly, "Crystal Barrier!" And as the purple orb got close, a semitransparent shield was spread around me and the others. I heard the explosion, and when the barrier was gone the dust that was in the air, circled around me. I felt a strange aura inside of me.

"Those who try to hurt my friends or family, shall regret it." I said in an angry tone. Then the dust started to change for dark brown to light pink. "Starlight healing!" I shouted.

Then pink dust then blasted outwards simultaneously hitting the woman. She screamed flying away. I felt tired but I turned around to check up on the man who freed my parents.

He was up checking on them. I walked over to him and asked if they were okay.

"Yea, they're okay. But I'm still confused, how do you do that?" He asked while looking at me. "Honestly, I don't known what I did. I just felt like I could." I said looking at him tiredly. "How long are they going to be unconscious?" I asked him.

"Possibly for a while cause the crystal that they were in sucked up a lot of their energy." He said. "Oh... I hope that they wake up so-" I couldn't finish what I was saying cause I was extremely tired. I fell to the ground and the last thing I heard was,"HEY! ARE YOU OKAY?!" It was the man but I couldn't answer him for I have already slipped into darkness.
