The Forgotten Girl

Waking up with a startle Emma sees she's back in her flat, alive. She immediately pulls out her wand. She hears the front door click. About to disapprate she hears Fred and George's laughter.

The twins come into the room to find Emma sobbing on the floor holding the cat.

"Emma!"
"I tried!" She sobbed.
"What are you talking about? Emma!" Fred cradled his girlfriend as she cried in is arms as they sat on the floor.

"I tried and I forgot about him I for got about Nate!" She sobbed insanely.

"Quick we need to get her parents!" Fred yelled in a panicky state as he picked up a very unstable Emma in his arms.

George nodded and grabbed Fred's arm. A loud noise echoed as they headed to the Lupins.

Upon arrival Emma was now thrashing in Fred's arms "get off me! Your not James Potter!" She screamed.
"Remus! Tonks!" George yelled as he busted open their front door with a swift kick.

Alerting the lupins and their guest they all ran to see what was going on.

Fred ran in and laid Emma on the couch. Harry stood next to Sirius with a pained face as Emma thrashed screaming about James and Lily.

"Get away! James wouldn't hurt me! I'm sorry Nate! You'd never leave Lily's side!" Emma rocked back and forth until she fell off the couch. The group just stood starring at her not knowing what to do.

"What h-happened?" Remus asked with an odd feeling of nostalgia.

He remembers this was how the Longbottoms acted.

"What the hell happened!" He yelled again making Emma scream even more.

"I don't know!" Fred yelled back startled by his girlfriend.

He ran his hand through his hair "George and I were out then we came home to see Emma crying about not being able to save Nate and then started screaming about James!"

"She's been under the Cruciatus curse." Harry spoke up remembering how lost and insane he felt.
