Chapter 4: Day Two In Brazil!!

The next day, I woke up wrapped in Eric's masculine, warm arms. I sighed joyfully of such a great sleep in Eric's arms. I feel like he is my guardian, protecting me from the bad and bringing out the good in me. Eric woke up as well, he kissed my forehead and smiled at me dreamily. 

"Good morning my princess," He says softly, yawning. 

"Good morning my prince" I reply, looking deeply into his eyes, making him smile! His smile is so adorable!!!!!

Together, we get out of the bed and gave a proper hug. I then kissed him on the cheek and walked to the bathroom to wash my face and get ready. As I washed my face, Eric came into the bathroom and wrapped an arm around me while brushing his teeth. I leaned back into his arm, smiling. I washed my face, brushed my teeth, picked out an outfit, put my hair into a low but cute bun, and put on my favorite perfume. Eric rubbed in my sunscreen. I couldn't help but blush while he was smearing my arms and face with sunscreen. I did my legs. Then it was my turn to do his. I gently massaged his arms with the sunscreen, he smiled, looking like he liked my massaging skills. My mother taught me. She used to be a masseuse. 

After we finished getting ready, we went down to the breakfast bar and ate breakfast. I had eggs, bacon, garlic bread, oranges, and a watermelon slushie!!! Eric had toast, eggs, bacon, baked beans, a mini salad, and a pineapple juice!!! Of course, I took pictures of the amazing food. I also took pictures with me and Eric. We are so cute! I was paradise! 

While we ate our delicious breakfast, we grabbed a pamphlet of things to do in Recife that was laid out on the table. We decided to go hiking. The hiking spot is only 10 mins away! Perfect! Soon, Eric and I finished our breakfast and went back to our hotel room to pack a few things for the hike. Eric also booked a time for us to go hiking. We found a perfect time! Eric booked us in for 12.15 pm, It's now 10.00 am. I changed my shoes into some running shoes that I brought, and packed my bag. 

I packed a towel (in case Eric and I get sweaty), sunscreen, two large water bottles, some snacks, deodorant, a camera, and a pair of sunglasses. We finished getting ready by 11.30, so we took a taxi to the hiking spot. Eric checked in at the reception and then we waited in a cool little sitting area for our reservation. 

Soon a tall, well built, blonde man walked to us. 

"Hi I'm Jerry, I will be taking you fellas on your hike today. 

"Hi I'm Eric and this is my girlfriend Tiana," Eric said as we both shook Jerry's hand. 

I blushed when Eric called me his girlfriend! Awwwwww!!!!............

Soon we were taken to our starting point. Jerry told us our hike will take about 45 mins to about an hour. I'm not the sporty type, but I did it anyway, for Eric at least. 

We then headed off, I took lots of amazing pictures of the amazing nature around us! I also took some videos using my camera. Eric then filmed we as we walked, he was so cute! He should be a photographer! Maybe we should make vlogs together!

Once we were about halfway through the track, Jerry stopped us to take a break. Eric and I gladly sipped some water and ate a snack, we catched our breath as we sat down on a bench near some bushes. Soon we were back on our hike. 

Once we reached the end of the track. We were sweaty, tired, but amazed at the view along the way, I felt proud of going on that hike, Eric kissed me on my nose, telling me that he was proud of me. We walked back to the reception, where the kind receptionist lady offered us some refreshing lemonade and some fruit. Of course, I took a banana.

We then took another taxi back to our hotel room. 

Eric and I chilled for a bit. We were both a quite exhausted, so Eric went for a nap, and I watched a movie next to him on the bed. The options were, Storks, Rio 1 & 2, and lastly was Annabelle. I finally chose Storks, it looked interesting. 

Eric and I cuddled as he fell asleep on my lap, holding my hand near his face. 

When Eric woke up, the movie was already finished. I was on my phone, looking at all the great photos I have taken in Recife! Soon Eric sat up and hugged me as we looked at the photos together. 

We then talked about going to a museum not far away. We finally decided to go and got dressed. We also planned to go out to a restaurant after our trip to the museum. It was already 4.37 pm! 

Once we were ready to leave, we grabbed our things and took a taxi to the museum. Once we arrived, we walked into the museum where a huge sculpture greeted us as we came in. 

We first went through a cool little track that revealed the amazing architecture of the war in Gallipoli! It was so amazing! It had notebooks of letters soldiers received from their families and what the soldiers sent back! I cried when I saw a photo of a little girl, who looked ill. Eric and I held hands as we admired all the amazing history, we looked like a cute couple! I was blushing when he put his arm around my waist and kissed the side of my head. Again, I took pictures, only of the things I was allowed to. 

Once we finished touring the museum, it was 6.52 pm, so we decided to head off to the restaurant. Once we arrived, a man in a suit showed us to our table and gave us a fancy looking menu, surprisingly, the meals on the menu weren't expensive. I decided on a shrimp cocktail with a side of lemonade. Eric chose a grilled chicken burger with a diet coke! We couldn't fit in any dessert! We felt like huge balloons with arms and legs when we went home! Once we got home, and our tummies were calm and we were ready for bed, we drifted off into a nice, cozy sleep, of course Eric and I were cuddling! I didn't mind. 

I felt sad that today was the last day in Brazil, it was alot of fun though!!!!!! I'm also excied to see where Eric and I go next. Paris, Africa, WHO KNOWS!!!!!!!!
