Okay, I know I should have done Raritello and Mikey Pie before this one, but I'd figured I should go ahead and talk about this one....
To be honest, I don't really ship this one, but I actually find it interesting. They both went through a dark past, and both actually felt really guilty about it. And I can actually see Sunset Shimmer meeting Slash, and they become good friends. I can also imagine Sunset Shimmer telling Slash some good advice whenever he's feeling guilty about his mind control situation and when he got mutated just as she helped Sci Twi with her fear of Midnight Sparkle coming back and not being able to control her magic. So yeah, I actually like this one even though I don't ship it a lot. I can TOTALLY see these two as close friends. BTW, for ANY of you who are doing any TMNT/MLP Stories, here are some Slash and Sunset pics in case you have a part where they interact with each other. Also in my FlutterSlash story, my Spoiler I can give you is that Sunset Shimmer will make a guest appearance in the story and help both Fluttershy and Slash.
