To the people that wonder why straight pride isn't a thing.
The answer is simple and right in front of your face
To be straight meant that you're safe and accepted; no one tells you that you're going to Hell for loving the person that you fell in love with.
No one stares at you for holding hands with the person you're dating because it's seen as wrong or a sin.
But
When you're anything but straight that's when you get Judged.
To be homosexual meant that you was sick
To be bisexual meant that you was confused
To be anything be on bisexual meant that you didn't exist at all or to be called something you're not.
When you're anything but straight
People come up to you and spit insults in your face because you fell in love.
Straight people act like they got it bad when in reality they don't
They haven't been killed for falling in love
They don't have people come up to them and yell that they're "fags" and that they're going to hell
They don't have to go through " therapy" to try to be "fixed"
When they're not broken.
Being straight means that you have all rights hands to over to you
While the rest of us has to fight for our rights.
To everyone that wants straight pride to be a thing. I believe I speak for everyone that isn't straight when I say
I'll trade you
You can have the pride parade
And
We'll be safe, fully accepted in society and have our rights handed over without question.
Side note
There is nothing wrong in taking pride in yourself or whatever sexuality you have.
When I wrote this this I had over heard some people talk about why isn't there an straight pride parade and it got me thinking and this is what I came up with.
