The Boys With Coloured Hair

Chapter 1

'YouTube Academy! Where dreams are a reality!' That's what the leaflet said but my brain wasn't too sure. Welp we'll soon find out won't we? Me and a friend were sitting on my bed scanning through the leaflet.
"I can't wait!" Liz exclaimed
"Okay Liz  you're not getting this are you?!" Said I
"Getting what?!" She asked simultaneously
"YouTube school, famous YouTubers go there!" I said slowly
"Y-you mean Jack, Mark, Felix? DAN?!" Liz yelled.
"Yes!!" I screamed. That was it we were too excited to sleep! We leave for our new homes tomorrow! America here we come! We need to move from the UK and leave all our friends but meh I didn't care. We need to leave for 5 so tomorrow we'll be saying our goodbyes.

Oh my god how the heck did I forget?! I'll introduce myself. I'm Lydia. A horrible name I know. But screw it! I have a friend Liz And my god is she amazing! You may be wondering why we're going to YouTube academy. The thing is I was never accepted anywhere and we were planning on moving to America anyway. Liz wanted to move to America and her parents saw her point of view. So my mom, me, Liz and her parents were off to America. Me and my mom could afford a 4 bedroom house so Liz and her parents were welcome to live there.

Bzz Bzz Bzzzz! My alarm buzzed for 8:00AM. We didn't need to go to school so our whole day was pretty much packing for America. While I was packing Liz was blogging the whole thing as her stuff was packed at her parents house.
"Hi everyone today I'm here today wiiiittthhhh Lydia!" She started.
I rolled my eyes and laughed! I waved sticking my tongue out at the camera. I got straight back to packing and after and hour she finally finished. Another hours worth of editing and then a couple of hours uploading the video to her channel, Sporty Liz02. Her channels really good and deserves more attention! Mine on the other hand does not. I have 5 subscribers and two videos. I don't post much due to self confidence issues but Liz is supporting me through this.

4:00PM finally came and we headed to school to say bye to our teachers. The first room we headed to was Mr Marchant's, my old tutor and mine and Lizs maths teacher.
"Hey sir." We said smiling
"Hey girls I was hoping you'd come here." He replied
"R-really?" I laughed looking at Liz confused.
"Yep." He nodded smiling. We walked up to his desk and he handed us something. It was a card. We opened it and read the writing.

Me and Liz thanked him and left the room and said our final goodbyes to the rest of the teachers. As soon as we left school we looked at the card again and burst out laughing.
"What you two laughing at?" Liz's mom asked.
"Nothing" Liz said, still laughing
"Mom, dad this is Lydia" Liz said
"Hey." I waved shyly. My mom was in the drivers seat and Liz's parents were in the back. I climbed in the front and we were off to America. Me and Liz couldn't wait!
