~MyStreet S1 Setting~

Kaitlyn flopped down on her bed, exhausted. Valentine's Day was coming and Travis asked her on a date with her. She had refused at first, but because of her short fuse, she finally gave in.

~flashback~

"PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE KAITLYN PLEASE OH PLEASE GO ON A DATE WITH ME!!" Travis pleaded.

"No no no no no, no no no, no no no no no no no no no! NO!" Kaitlyn said repeatedly. As Travis pleaded, Kaitlyn got more and more annoyed until finally,

"UUUUGGHH FINE! If I go on this STUPID DATE with you will you SHUT UP?!"

"Yes!" Travis squeaked.

"Fine."

"...yay..."

~end flashback~

Kaitlyn sighed loudly. She thought of Travis, and immediately shriveled up her nose.

His stupid face

His stupid hair

His stupid humor

Basically all the things that made up Travis. Kaitlyn hated every single one.

At least, that's what she thought.

She looked around and spotted her laptop sitting on her bed stand. Grabbing it, Kaitlyn decided she was gonna watch anime before dinner. She opened the laptop and started Netflix before falling into the world of Japanese Animation.

~one anime marathon later~

Kaitlyn closed her laptop, a tear threatening to snake down her face. She wiped it away.

"MACCACHIN NOOO!" She exclaimed, and Aphmau ran in, searching for the source of the scream.

"KAITLYN! WHATS WRONG? ARE YOU-" she topped and realized what she said before hugging Kaitlyn close. "I know it hurts. I know. He'll survive! Don't worry!"

"Vi-Viktor... an-and Yuri..." Kaitlyn stuttered.

"It's okay. Just wait another week and we'll see what happens." Aphmau hugged her one last time before leaving.

"A WHOLE WEEK?!?!" Kaitlyn exclaimed before beginning to cry again.

~one feels meltdown later~

Kaitlyn walked downstairs to see Travis.

Ugh. It's him. She rolled her eyes and walked to the kitchen.

"Heeeey Kaitlyn." Travis greeted her while putting up finger guns, but she just walked right by. He seemed as smooth as ever, but his face was flushed red. Aphmau was giggling behind him.

"Oh. Hi Travis." She said and got some cookies from the cookie jar. She put one in her mouth and walked back up to her room with several in her one hand.

"K-Kaitlyn! Wait!" Travis ran up the stairs after her. She looked back and stopped. He stopped on the stair below her and looked up at her.

"What Travis?" Kaitlyn asked as she removed the cookie from her mouth.

"I-uh-wanted to give you this!" Travis thrust a box into Kaitlyn's hand with the cookies before blushing and running back to the kitchen.

"Um... okay. Thanks Travis." Kaitlyn went up to her room and shut the door before opening the box.

Inside the box was a single Hershey kiss with a note attached:

Dear Kaitlyn,

This Valentine's Day, I wanted to give you a kiss. I was going for a real one at first but then decided against it because I value my life. I hope you have a Happy Valentines Day and if you want to, you can call the date off.

Kaitlyn blushed. No one had ever done anything that cute for her before. She realized she was blushing and blushed more, burying her face in her pillow.

After a while of thinking, Kaitlyn decided that she did like Travis, annoying as he may be. Knowing this, she came up with a plan.

Kaitlyn walked back downstairs and saw Travis in the kitchen talking to Aphmau.

"UGH she's gonna kill me... she's gonna kill me, she's gonna kill me, SHE'S GONNA KILL ME!!" Travis said and continued to freak out. Aphmau saw Kaitlyn sneaking up behind Travis, but decided not to tell him.

Kaitlyn crept up behind Travis and tapped him in the shoulder. He whirled around to see a smirking Kaitlyn.

"O-OH HI KAITLYN!" He said hurriedly.

"So Travis, about that box-" Kaitlyn started before being cut off.

"I know that was uncalled for and I know you don't like me but I wanted to give it to you anyway because you're awesome and if you want to call off the date that's fine just tell me-MHFHH!"

Kaitlyn cut him off by pressing her lips against his and they stayed in that position for a couple seconds before Kaitlyn pulled away.

"See ya Travis." She said and left to go to Lucinda's house, leaving a very confused and blushing Travis behind.
