Colorless World

(Gilbert P.O.V)

I live in a world without color...well kind of...the only color I can see is purple...you see in our world we can only see one color, the color of our soulmates eyes. Purple is the only color is the only color I have seen for as long as I can remember. We only see gray, black, and white even for other people's eyes unless they are our soulmate all we see is gray. My name is gilbert I am the personified country of Prussia. I go to hetalia academy. I am a junior in college this year and I've been hearing rumors that there is a new kid joining my class today and that her name is Matthew. When I got to class my teacher told me that Matthew was new to the school and asked me to show her around. The teacher told someone outside the door to come in. My eyes widened when the most beautiful girl I had ever seen walked through the door. Her shoulder length light gray hair was shiny and well kept, but she had one curl that was in front that would not stay back. She wore a gray hoodie with a white maple leaf on the front with jeans. I looked to her face and noticed that she wore glasses and that was when I saw her eyes and my world exploded with color, her eyes were a deep purple and the hoodie she wore was actually bright red and her hair was golden blonde.

(Matthew P.O.V)

I was always told that my soulmate would have the eye color of the one color I could see...there was only one problem...I can only see red...red is not the most normal eye color in the small town I lived in, so when I turned 21 I moved to Germany where I attended hetalia academy. Today is my first day at my new college and I was more than a little nervous. My homeroom teacher was nice and told me she had asked a student named gilbert to show me around today. As I  waited to be called in my mind drifted to the boy that was going to be showing me around today. I wondered if he would be nice and what color he could see. That was when the teacher called me in to the class. I walked in and was looking around when the teacher pointed to a boy in the corner saying that he would be showing me around. I looked him up and down he had white hair and wore a red shirt and black jacket and jeans with a German cross around his neck and then I looked at his eyes and our gazes locked I saw red eyes and colors revealed themselves to me, his hair was truly white his eyes bright red. At that moment I knew I had found my soulmate. He walked up to me and told me to follow him. I walked behind him silently.

(Gilbert P.O.V)

I led her out of the room and towards the lunch room, she followed me silently. After a few minutes I turned around to talk to her I said "you are a very pretty girl, but why is your name Matthew?" She looked up at me with an embarrassed look...

(Matthew P.O.V)

[What do I do he called me a girl...I'll just tell him I'm a guy.] I look up at him in embarrassment and say "um... thanks but...I'm a guy... sorry"

(Gilbert P.O.V)

"Oh...sorry...you are just so pretty that I thought you were a girl... listen let's try this again. I'm Gilbert nice to meet you." I smile and Reach my hand out for him to shake. He takes it and says "Matthew, nice to meet you too." We smile at each other and continue the tour. As we walked we asked each other questions about ourselves. I found out he moved here from Canada and that he has a pet polar bear named Kuma and that he loves pancakes and snow.

(Matthew P.O.V)

As the tour continued we talked about ourselves and I found that he likes a lot of the things I do like pancakes and snow!
