We were halfway through the lesson and I was still thinking about that story. "If somebody hands you a crying baby do you; A)curse it B)lock it in a tower C)give it a bottle or D)carve out its heart." Fairy godmother asked us as we sat bored in class. I was drawing a picture of the princess in the back of the class which made my friends wonder if I was okay. Evie's hand shot up. "Evie?"fairy god mother asked. "What was the second one again?"Evie replied. "Oh okay, anyone else?" I guess she noticed I wasn't paying attention. "Ruby?" My head snapped up. "Um, C give it a bottle!"I smiled. Fairy godmother smiled back and nodded. "You are on fire girl."Carlos said sassily. "How do I make this easy for you guys? Oh just pick the one that doesn't sound fun."I told them. "Ohh."they said. "that makes so much sense."Evie said.
A girl wearing a light blue dress and short hair walked in. She seemed scared, she looked at me and I smiled at her which made her smile. Then she squealed passed the rest of the Vk. She walked to fairy godmother and said." You need to sign off an early dismissal for the coronation." "You all remember my daughter Jane."fairy god mother said. "Mom no!"Jane protested (NO JIMMY PROTESTED not the time? Sorry.) "it's okay, Jane this is everyone." Fairy godmother said pushing Jane to the front. "Hi, that's okay, don't mind me, as you were." She said in a shaky voice. She quickly left the room but not before smiling at me again. "Let's continue. If you find a vial of poison do you: A)put it in the Kings wine B)paint it on an apple" she said making Evie giggle."or C) turn it over to the proper authorities." Evie, Jay's, and Carlos's hands shot up in the air. Jay pushed Carlos's arm down. "Jay?"fairy godmother asked. "C) turn it over to the proper authorities."he said smugly. "I was going to say that!"Carlos yelled. "Oh, but I said it first." Jay mocked. He grabbed Carlos in a headlock and gave him a noogie. We were used to this so we just ignored it. "Boys...BOYS!"fairy godmother yelled making the boys turn to her. "I'm going to encourage you to use that energy on the tourney field." "Oh no whatever that is we'll pass."Carlos said as I giggled in the back. "Well maybe Ruby can join the cheer squad and cheer you on. Bet that'll make you feel better." She said smiling and me. Me and Carlos both turned red while everyone laughed. "Oh, I wish I could fairy godmother but, I have to go to the library." I smiled. "Oh what a shame." She said and turned back to the board.
