*Boa's P.O.V*
"Dad I already know this, I know I need my mate by my side in order to become full alpha of the Moonlit pack. But its been four years now, since I was 18! What if I never find them or worse what if they reject me!?" I scream at my dad panicking.
"Son calm down, you will find your mate and your a good alpha. You will find him or her soon. Leave it to the moon goddess to deliver you your mate." I listen as he says this calmly.
"I sure hope its a male, tacos are just plain nasty! Nothing should be able to stretch that far!" I exclaim in disgust.
All he does as a reply is laugh deeply.
"Indeed they are son, indeed they are." He says after he stops laughing so hard.
"What if -" I don't finish my sentence as my beta rushes in.
"Pardon me alphas, for interrupting your meeting but boarder patrol just reported a rouge has entered pack borders." My beta says in a breathless tone.
"Dad I need - " He interrupts me as he tells me to just go and take care of the rouge.
I nod before, I run and shift into my onyx wolf with amber eyes.
"You ready Anubis?" I mentally ask my wolf.
"Yes Boa, lets go get us a rouge!" He snarls back.
I howl one long time, before to assemble my guards before I take off running in pursuit of this rouge.
the border patrol, howls my way to show me the way the rouge was spotted. I swiftly turn in their direction as I'm suddenly knocked backwards with the sweet smell of rain water and earth.
"Mate! Mine! Claim them now!" My wolf howls and snarls, in my mind as he smells his mate close by.
Mate? I actually have a mate, after all these years of waiting they are finally here!
I slow down as I come up on the source of the delicious smell. he's pretty cute actually, the way that he has his nose scrunched up as he try's to be intimidating.
"He's blind?" My wolf ask softly in my mind, talking about his milky white and silver colored eyes.
"Yes, it seems so. But I don't care, I still love him all the same." I say back.
it's then that I smelt the strong iron scent of blood, so when I lowered my gaze downwards I noticed that his whole tiny side was splattered in blood, with deep gash wounds.
Anubis pushes forward, and gently nuzzles his side but the reaction that we get is not what I was expecting at all.
he started hyperventilating, just as he urinated all over himself dropping to the forest floor. Just barely hanging on.
i quickly shift into my wolf, before gently grabbing his small scruff in my mouth and turn to go home.
"All warriors to the pack house now! My mate needs to get somewhere safe." I quickly shut off the mind link and start running back towards home, careful of my precious cargo I'm carrying in my jaws.
