                            To Love a Monster,

 

                         I Am so dead. 

That was the only thought that was running through my head, As I hurriedly rushed to the Alpha's Office. Or more Preferably, Papa's Office. 

I Am in so much trouble, It isn't even funny. This Is my Third time being late to one of my Papa's meetings. I Don't know why he want's me at these meetings, Since I'm not going to be The next Alpha of My Pack, (The Moonstones Pack.) My Brother, Abel Will be leading this pack. Not me.

I finally reached Papa's door, And quickly glanced at my Plain White Watch, Which read, 4:33 P.M. Oh My Goddess, I've already missed half an hour! 

I Took a deep breath, And slowly turned the Stainless Steel Door knob. Everyone's head Turned towards me, As I Entered the small cramped room. I Cleared my Throat, 

''I'm so sorry, I...Eh,The traffic,'' I Stammered over my words, Trying to make up a believable lie. I was really late, Because I Got into a fight with some Human In the mall. It was her fault that my Smoothie Landed on her Disgusting looking blouse. 

''We'll talk later,'' Papa Spoke. His Thick Spanish Accent could be Identified in his Voice. Yes, My family and I Are Spanish, But we Live in America. My great Grandfather Had to Flee his country and His own pack, Because of the war between the Spanish and the French. But, I don't think that's true. If I ask my Mamita About my Great grandfather, It's always the same sentence. 'There was a war, little one'. So I Gave up asking her. 

Thinking about my Mamita, Where is she? 

''You are all dismissed.'' Papa's Hard voice snapped me out of my thoughts. Wow, That meeting was fast, I Thought as I Stood up from his office chair and followed The beta, The beta's son and My brother out of the room. 

''Not you, Aura.'' He growled. I Sighed and Turned back around, Facing my angry papa.

''What's your excuse now?'' He Snapped. I Gulped and looked up at him. My papa is very tall. Maybe six foot something. His hair is all ruffled like he had just woke up, But in reality he's just stressed out. Over what? I don't know. 

''Papa, I-'' I Began, But He immediately Cut me off. ''I Have heard enough Aura! I have had enough of your lies And your excuses. You're Seventeen years old, and you still act like a pup. Do you not care about our pack and their safety? Being an Alpha you need to have full responsibility.'' 

Here we go. Another Lecture about taking full responsibility. I Rolled my eyes, ''I Don't see why I Need to go to these meetings? I'm not becoming the next Alpha of this pack, Abel is.''
