Park Jimin

The last time Hye Ji and I had been to this spot was on her 10th birthday, 6 years ago. When we got there we both sat on the wall and talked for a while.

"Hye Ji, lets break up." I said to her.

She turned her head to me and asked why.

"I don't have feelings for you anymore."

"Is .. there someone else?" She asked in a shakey voice.

"Yes, and shes way prettier then you." I got a bit shocked by my own words.

She just stared at me with a shocked expression. I couldn't look her in the eyes so I looked down at the ground and kicked the dirt nervously.

She didn't say another word and left me. I looked up at the spot where Hye Ji had been. I knew that had to be done but it hurt so much. I thought back to what my dad had said to me a few days ago.

"I can't get married to someone I don't know and don't love!" I told my dad angrily. I didn't understand why he was forcing me into a marriage. I thought he had liked and approved of Hye Ji.

"Then get to know her."

"What about my girlfriend?"

"Break up with her, of course."

I looked at him and I could tell he didn't care about my feelings.

"This is for money isn't-"

"Jimin!" He shouted.

I looked away holding back my tears.

"I don't want to marry-"

"Well you don't have a choice. I was just telling you what's going to happen." Then I heard him get off my bed and walk out of my room. I tugged at my hair in frustration and fell back onto my bed.

"I'm sorry Hye Ji. I love you." I whispered as I came back to reality. I looked out to the dark sky, wishing for this all to go away.
