Return Of The Father (Harry Potter fanfiction) **COMPLETED**

:: Chapter 15: Fourth year ::

It was evening, and they all had a quick snack. Time flew when they were watching memories.

"Harry, what is so horrible about fourth year?" James asked worried.

"It was very traumatic, Prongs. You'll see soon enough." Sirius said softly.

"Shall we, then?" Remus asked, indicating the Penseive. The others nodded and dived in, Harry albeit rather reluctantly. It had only been months since all of it happened, Cedric's death, Voldemort's return, being tortured, taking part in the tri wizard tournament ... He was not eager to relive those memories so soon, after having so little time to cope...

Harry had started with the Quidditch World Cup.

"Amos Diggory here? I never liked him." James said. Sirius and Remus chuckled.

"That's because Diggory once had a thing for Lily." Sirius told them.

"His son seems like a good lad, though." Remus remarked.

"The world cup is a once in a lifetime opportunity. " James said. "You were so lucky!"

"Excellent seats." Sirius said smiling.

"They really are superb." Remus commented on the flying. "So fast."

"Krum caught the snitch but Ireland still won. He is an amazing flier! That feint!" James said in awe.

"Death eaters?" James asked worried. "Get out there!"

"You dropped your wand?" Remus moaned.

"No," James said softly, looking at the green mark in the sky. "The dark mark."

"They blamed Winky?" Remus asked incredulously. "A house elf would hardly know how to work a wand, and conjuring the dark mark with one is going too far!"

"Crouch mentioned punishments. Poor winky." James said sadly.

Hermione then spoke eagerly, "You two should consider S.P.E.W-"

"Oh, not spew again." Ron groaned.

"Well Ron, just because you don't care about elf rights and think that they actually enjoy-"

"Hermione, setting up this stupid society is not doing any good for anyone!"

"You wait and watch. Soon elves will have the liberty to-"

"Oh, shut it will you." Harry told the both of them irritably. James, Remus and Sirius gave the three of them amused looks.

"Do I want to know?" James asked grinning.

"Nope." Harry replied.

Hogwarts-

"The tri wizard tournament? That is so rare! You were so lucky to get to watch it." James said smiling. Everyone else exchanged knowing glances. They all watched entranced at the various students from other schools.

"Moody a Professor? What's he drinking?" James asked thoughtfully.

"Po-" Ron began but Harry kicked him in the shins.

"Wasn't Igor Karkaroff a death eater?" Remus asked.

"Yeah, he was. What's he doing here?" James wondered.

"A ferret?" Sirius asked guffawing.

"That is hilarious!" James said laughing.
