My name is Anita Barker, I'm 17 and a werewolf, when I was 6 I accidentally fell into a bush of Aconitim otherwise known as wolfsbane so my right side was severely burnt leaving ugly scars. Being a werewolf is pretty cool, in the old days werewolves used to feed on humans but now we are taught to only hunt animals, normally wolves are supposed to be in packs but my family is my pack.

My Mother is Astrid Barker, she was turned at the age of 32 on the 26th of August 1648, she adopted me when I was only a few months old, before me she also adopted my hybrid sister Valentia, Mother found her dying in the streets after she had been attacked by werewolves for being different, Valentia stopped ageing at 17 and is half vampire half werewolf, her name is a Latin name meaning brave.

Mother also adopted my other sister who is a werewolf like me, like me my little sister was only a few months old, Mother had rescued her from fellow vampires and named her Venus after the goddess of love, Venus is now 13 years old. Mother only drinks animal blood, just in case you were wondering, she saved us and has always protected us as we must protect her from any threat of harm.

I almost forgot to tell you about my brother Dustin, he's a vampire, he was turned at the age of 21 after being tortured & used as a slave by powerful witches, Mother cared for him for a few decades until he decided to move to England for awhile, I miss him heaps. Mother moved us to a new town last week, Valentia, Venus & I start school tomorrow, I'm really excited.

I just finish unpacking my last box, I get distracted pretty easily so it took awhile for me to unpack everything, I walk out of my room and down stairs, I find Venus & Valentia watching t.v "hey who wants to go to the beach?" I say cheerfully "yeah why not" Valentia says shrugging, I had to convince Venus but like always she caved and we all went to our rooms to change into swimmers before we left.

It's 1:34pm so there were still a fair few people at the beach, Valentia laid on the sand to enjoy the sun while Venus & I quickly race each other into the water, I won and she splashed me because she's a sore loser. "Do we really have to go to school, like seriously why can't Mum just homeschool us" Venus says bitterly "because Mother is extremely busy and you need to socialise or you'll end up being some creepy cat lady that no one likes" I said amused.

"I like cats" She huffs just as I notice a cute guy sitting with Valentia on the beach, Venus & I share a look when Valentia waves for us to come over, we swim out of the water and make our way towards them "Adam meet my sisters Anita & Venus, girls meet Adam" Valentia says smiling, we sit down and talk to him for abit before it started getting late and we had to go home.

I lay on my bed after having a long & warm shower, I stare at the ceiling as thoughts run through my mind, I want to go to school but I'm scared that people are gonna think I'm weird or that their not gonna like me, its just stressful to be the new girl but at least I'll have my sisters.. I sigh before crawling underneath the blankets and I slowly fall to sleep...
