I rolled my eyes walking, meeting the dude halfway. I held out my hand with a smile, “Hello. Nice to meet you, I'm-”
“Blaze I know… who doesn’t know?” I smiled slightly
“Thanks, what is your name?” I looked him over quickly. Light brown hair, perfect bright blue eyes, a bit of a scruffy jaw line hair and neck giving him a sexy look, and he had a nice, slim body. He was handsome but not someone I would date.
“Chris. Nice to meet you, or well finally I should say. You are my favorite model… would it be weird to ask for your autograph?” He gave me hopeful eyes and his tone was slightly afraid. Did he think I would reject such a cute face?
I laughed lightly at his cuteness and shook my head, “After this shot, but we will have to hurry. I have to do 2 more then a party.”
He grinned, “Then one for this fragrance, I'm going to, you can just autograph for me then.”
I smiled and a whistle blew, signaling it was time to go onto the set. I sighed and took a breath. we walked onto the set and the girl that had head gear on gave me the perfume telling me where to turn and how far my steps will be and what not.
The lights in front of me flashed down from 5 before going to red.
I looked to my right then my left and looked happily into my hands then sprayed my neck twice setting it down swiftly facing the cameras then heard footsteps and turned walking to Chris. He had a loving look on his face; I slid my hands around his neck and he went to my neck and his arms wrapped around me holding me close and my leg slightly slid up his to give affect.
We had to pause then I glanced over seeing that it was counting down from 5 then I needed to say the line… I hated the line… I wonder what will happen if I change it?
The light went red and I spoke with a smirk, “Diamonds, a girl’s true best friend.” The lights turned off then back on to regular setting and I leaned on the rail at everyone’s stunned faces.“What? that line was dumb.” I said.
I glanced at Anita and she looked at the producers worriedly. I rolled my eyes, “We can redo it if you don't like it, and I will go by script too.”
No one moved. I sighed crossing my arms, “Come on, we need to move this along.”
It was silent. I clapped my hands together, “Ok then, we are keeping it.” I walked past Chris who had a awed look on his face and walked down the back steps to the ship set. I walked passed Anita grabbing my phone and then went to my room.
The make-up people cleaned my face while taking my hair out. One of the girls giggled, “That was hilarious! Too bad you couldn’t see their faces when it happened.”
I smiled softly, saying, “Honestly what sounded better? 'Diamonds, it doesn’t only sparkle,' or 'Diamonds, a girl’s true best friend?'”
They agreed on mine and I silently hoped that I didn’t ruin my carrier by doing that. I bit my lip and opened my text message as they got me out of the dress.
Why are you busy? Truth be told you, don't look like the type of girl to be doing something.
I glared in hate at the screen. Just because I dress like a nerd and have no friends doesn't mean I have no life! What a jerk!
I huffed, he was semi-right, I had no school life… plus Blaze and Grace were two totally different people. Blaze was my business name and grace was my middle name, my real name was Destiny.
I quickly replied seeing Anita coming in, “I'm doing extra credit.” That was believable I guess…
Anita was rubbing her nose as she stopped next to me, “I can’t believe you would do that.”
