My friend Lexi introduced Tyler. to me way back high school days.

Arrogant and snob. He was that from his hair down to his fingernails. Look like you have to be excellent enough just to his friend. No doubt, he's always on the top of the class . He was the kind of person most likely to succeed.  Girl crawled to get his attention.  But that was to far from me to do. Not even in wildest dream!

Anyway, we weren't on the same school.  Highschool life went though smoothly,  I went to the prom and graduated.

(5:30A.M)

I was taking my jog at the park when heavy rain fell. I found the perfect shed. I thought of running to the other shed nearby but it was too late because my feet were taking me to where he was.

I suppressed a smile as I approached the shed but he didn't even throw a look at me.  The weather started to calm down and people were preparing to go. He was too. As he opened his umbrella ( look like he already knew that it would rain again) he asked , "Hindi kapa ba uuwi? "

I could still remember how those intense brown eyes seared me to my very soul as if stripping all my defences and i almost forgot he was asking me
"saka na ako u-uwi kapag tumigil na talaga yung ulan" was all my response.

"Hali kana. Hindi pa titigil yung ulan. Baka tanghaliin ka diyan." First, he knew how to talk and then he knew how the crack a joke.  The fear that I might end up waiting for the rain stop until lunch. Without hesitations I accepted his offer.

Just before we separated I dropped my ipod and it was totally wrecked . Tyler grabbed it from me and said that he would fix it himself. My whole body stiffened in shock . I was looking for an indication that he's faking everything.

I thought it was the start of a perfect friendship between us,  but it was all the same day we first met.  I was perplexed when lexi handed me an all new Ipod with all my downloaded songs from my broken iPod in it.  I read the small note attached to it.  It says:

" I WASN'T ABLE TO FIX IT.  SO I BROUGHT YOU WITH A NEW ONE"

as simple as that,  no smiley,  no hi or hellos. All letters were capitalized.  I wasn't able to personally thank him because they said that he was confined in the hospital for two weeks because of high fever.  I wanted to pay a visit on him but I was too shy.

First day in college.  I bumped onto someone (because i was looking in the other way). When the guy turned to face me,  I saw a familiar irriated look, ~and its Tyler ~but he cast away that look and replace it with a heart stopping smile. I don't know what to say or how to react.

Damn! So, I just gave him a quick smile and walk away as fast as I can. If I stayed they for long then I would probably get a heart attack.

It was the first day of school but the professor already handed us some test papers to asses how far we have gone in highschool.
