Annie's POV:

Wow. Harry just owned Molly, maybe things are starting to look up. As we edge closer and closer to Nando's, I feel our hands brush against each other. The silence is beginning to become uncomfortable but we're saved as we enter the building. We don't have to wait long for a table as I almost forgot, I was here with THE Harry Styles. I got a few dirty looks from girls around the restaurant, but since I've been with Harry, they don't seem to effect me anymore.

Harry pulled my chair out waiting for me to sit down like a true gentleman. Only, I ended up on the floor. Well done, Annie. I heard people stifle a laugh, and when I look up I see Harry standing in front of me, wide-eyed. I felt embarrassment take over me, as I stood up hurriedly and rushed to the toilets. I didn't bother looking back at Harry, I was humiliated. I stood in a stall and bawled my eyes out. Why was I so dumb? Clearly Harry has started to notice how embarrassing I am, and soon enough he won't want to be near him. How could I be so stupid, and think that my life was starting to change? Just as I was in mid-hysteric I heard the door open. I held my breath, not knowing who was entering. I slowly unlocked the door and poked my head out. I didn't recognise the girl, but I could see sympathy in her eyes as she looked at me. I cleared my throat as I stood up staright and walked towards the mirror to attempt to fix my make-up and hair.

The mysterious girl said "Are you ok, Annie?" Completely shocked, I hesitantly answered

"Not really, and how do you know my name?" She just chuckled and said

"I'm Harry's older sister, Gemma. I came here with my boyfriend and I saw him sitting on his own looking panicked. I obviously went and asked him what was wrong, and that's why I'm here! So, how about we sort you out and get you back out there? We wouldn't want to disappoint my brother now would we? Especially when he has an eye on someone special." She winked at me. It all made sense now, and I felt like I had made  a new friend when we had a little chat while fixing myself up. Gemma was a really nice girl, but the same phrase kept repeating in my head; "Especially when he has an eye on someone special." Who could that be? Surely it's not me, as no one takes any interest in me, especially Harry Styles. I was snapped out of my thoughts as Gemma asked if I was ready to see Harry again. I nodded nervously, hoping he wouldn't mention the awkward moment before. Looking down at my feet, I wandered over to our table.

Harry's POV:

I fiddled with my thumbs as I waited for my sister to get back with Annie. I felt so guilty that she felt  like she had to run off like that. She must have panicked, knowing what her past is like. I was beginning to think that she would never get back, but I glanced over at the door again and there she was. She was staring at her feet as she shuffled over to me. She refused to look me in the eye, and I wanted to see those beautiful eyes I missed from earlier. Before I knew what I was doing, I lifted my hand and placed it beneath her chin, tilting her head up so that she had no choice but to look at me. She seemed shocked at my actions, but soon enough her eyes softened and her shoulders relaxed.

"Are you ok, Annie? I was worried." She replied quietly

"Yeah, can we just get some food now please?" I nodded in reply and this time I let her sit down herself.

After our food arrived, I decided to break the silence by playing 20 questions. She giggled at the idea which was adorable--wait, did I just say she was adorable? Crap, no I'm sure I didn't. Annie interrupted me by asking the first question.

"What's your favourite colour?"

"Orange. What's you're favourite food?"

"Spaghetti and meatballs. What's your favourite song on your album, Up All Night?"

"Moments. What's your favourite band?"

"One Direction. Obviously." She chuckled. I paid for the meal, which she was very gracious for. We started to walk out of the restaurant as we carried on playing 20 questions. I decided to make the game more interesting.

"Hmm, ok. Who's your favourite member?" I winked flirtatiously.

"You. Duh." She replied sarcastically. I decided to take this further as we continued to walk down the streets of London, back to my apartment.

"It better be haha, and if any celebrity could take you on a date, who would you pick?" She thought about this for a few seconds, clearly decided whether to say what she was thinking or not.

"You." I was taken aback.

"Me? Why?"

" Because you are the only person that I've ever met that has tried to help me. Tried to make me feel better. You haven't given up on me, well at least you haven't yet, and when I'm with you, you make me feel safe, and like the bullies can't touch me. Even though I am like a charity, you have helped me so much" She finished, and glanced at the ground, waiting for my reply. I was utterly speechless.

"Annie, I will never give up on you. I don't know why no one has noticed your beauty inside and out. You are not a charity. I am so happy that I have met you, and I want to know you for the rest of my life because that is how good a friend you are to me already, and it has only been one day! I like you a lot, Annie. Don't forget that, please." I saw tears in her eyes. I got a napkin which I had picked up on my way out of the building. I stopped us both in the streets and I used the edge of the napkin to wipe away the pain.  The hundreds of people who hurried past became a blur as I Iooked into Annie's eyes. The pain dissolved, and I could feel the smile on my face widen. I felt myslef lean closer to her fragile lips, and just before they brushed against my own, I looked up at her one more time as if to ask for permission, before my lips dived onto her mouth. The kiss wasn't very passionate, but the peck that we shared was full of life. I wanted to go further, I wanted to feel her inside my mouth. I wanted to feel her pain, her anger, and her love. But I knew I couldn't. It was too soon. I don't even know if she felt the same way as I do. My feelings weren't strong enough yet, I needed them to grow into love before I turned our friendship into something more. I had to wait for her to heal completely.
