Chapter 27~Awkward

Caleb's POV: I woke up the next morning feeling really awkward about what happened yesterday. It was a weird feeling. I got ready for my day and I already knew today was going to be an awkward day. I went upstairs for breakfast and I saw Annie and Hayley already there.

MK: Good Morning Caleb

C: Good morning.....

I looked at Annie but she immediately looked away. I sat down next to Hayley and ate my breakfast.

A: Mom....Brennan is driving me to and from school now...

MK: How come? I thought Caleb was supposed to drive you?

A:.....Well yeah...but I would really enjoy to spend time with my Boyfriend...

MK: What's going on between you and Caleb? You two used to be close and now you guys hardly talk to each other?

C:It's nothing mom....

MK: You guys sure?

A:YES!

MK: Annie! Don't you ever scream at me like that you hear me?!

A: Ugh!

Annie dropped her fork and run upstairs to her room.

C: Annie! I'll take care of this.

I ran behind Annie but she had locked her door. So I knocked on it.

A: Leave me alone!

C: Annie Please open the door!

A: No! Leave

C: Annie I care about you....I love you...Please open the door!

Just then Annie opened the door and she ran up and hugged me.

C: Can I come in?

A: Yes Please! We really need to talk

We both went and sat down on her bed.

C: So what do you need to talk about?

A: Look Caleb....There's something inside me telling me that I should be able to give you a chance to date me.

C: Annie-

A: But there's also a part where I don't want to because I don't want to hurt Brennan...

C: Annie..If you feel happy with Brennan then I won't make you break up with him.

A: Caleb what if I give you a chance up until Christmas and if I don't feel comfortable then I can go back with Brennan.

C: The bad part is what if you do feel comfortable and you want to keep dating me.... Then Brennan will be hurt....

A: I'll talk to Brennan about that....

C: Ok...Thanks for giving me a chance..

Annie smiled and gave me another hug. I was about to kiss her when she stopped me.

A: I'll talk to Brennan first!

C: Ok sorry

I then walked out of her room.

Brennan's POV: I received a text from Annie saying to go to her house immediately. So I grabbed my keys and drove to her house. Once I arrived I knocked in the door.

MK: Hey Brennan!

B: Hi....Is Annie there?

MK:Yeah she's up in her room.

B: Thanks

I went up to Annie's room and knocked on her door.

A: Who is it?
