Imagine you and Sebastian used to be in a contract many many years before Ciel, about 400 years ago or something. He accidentally falls in love with you and as your contract comes to a close, he breaks it off, wanting to give you a full human life and leaves so you are safe from him. Once he makes a contract with Ciel, you both run into each other when Ciel is paired up on a case with your master. Its at that point he finds out that after your contract had been broken off, another demon had killed and transformed you into a demon.
