A Good Morning

    Beep beep beep! I hear my noisy alarm go off. 7 o clock. Wow.
I sit up and yawn, looking around. For a slight moment I forgot where I was, then I remembered. I moved.
    I was originally from Dallas, Texas, but since my Mom got a request from some random company to go work for them all the way in New York City, we moved. She panicked and frantically started packing. This was all only three weeks ago.
    I bet you guys are all wondering, What about your dad? Where is he? My dad and mom got divorced 2 months ago. My dad kept my two brothers, Mark and Matthew in Texas, and mom kept just me. It's been pretty lonely ever since, but mom keeps promising to buy me a pet or something.
    I slowly get up and look in the mirror at my blonde bedhead. I brushed it out and put it up in a braid bun(at least, that's what I call it), and began to pick out an outfit for the day. I finally settle over a cute grey sweater with a white scarf and black leggings. I put some lipgloss on(because my mom won't let me wear makeup yet), and grabbed my grey boots.
    "Finally you're awake!" My mom said as I went down the stairs. "I just got you enrolled in a new school. You should be starting Monday." Luckily, today was Friday, so I still had some time before having to start my first year of high school. "Yay, new school." I grumbled. In a slightly brighter voice, I asked her, "So, what's the new name of my school?" Mom thought for a moment, and finally replied, "I believe it's called RiverView High."
     I put on my boots and asked mom, "Hey, can we go to that new mall today? I heard they were doing the grand-opening today, and I have a bit of money from that bake sale I did back at Dallas." She nodded and replied, "Yes, but we will only be there until 11:30, because I really want to try a new Italian restaurant, and I think you'll love it." I agreed and ran upstairs to grab my phone. This is going to be awesome!
