Cas had been under hospital care for a few hours. He had a broke arm, three shattered ribs, a broken ankle, and a nasty concussion. He was still unconscious. The doctors said he was lucky to be alive.

Dean, Charlie, Meg, Chuck, Anna, Lucifer, Hannah, Michael, Gabe, and Sam were all waiting in his room. Cas' mom, Becky, was away on business. The receptionist said that all of them couldn't be in there at the same time but Meg looked at her with a look so terrifying that she ran away.

Cas opened his eyes at about 2 PM. Chuck jumped up and patted his arm.

"Hey Cassie, you okay?"

All of the siblings jumped up and ran to his side. Dean, Sam, Charlie, and Meg stood in the back.

Cas cocked his head to its side in confusion.

"Why are you all so old?" he asked.

"What?" they all asked at the same time, "how old are we supposed to be?"

"Well Mikey is 12, Luci is 11, Anna and Gabe are 4, and who's that little girl over there?"

They all gasped. "Cas what's the last thing you remember?"

"You said we were going to have another baby, I got mad."

"That was 12 years ago."

"What? No. Wait. Where am I?" he looked down, "why am I so tall? Why does "

"Cassie you're 18 years old. You were pushed off the roof of a building and you are in the hospital."

At this point Dean had broken down. That was moments before they met. Cas might not remember him. Or Sam, or Charlie, or Meg.

Dean walked up to the side of the bed, all of the Novaks cleared out of the way.

"C-Cas?" he stuttered.

"Who are you?"

And with those three words, Dean's heart broke.

"I'm Dean Winchester. We're uh, we're friends. All of the Novaks looked at Dean, faces sad. Charlie almost died right then and there. Meg looked at her shoes.

He walked out of the hospital room, tears silently streaming down his face. Charlie followed.

One of Dean's football friends were out in the hallway.

"Hey Deano! Whoooa who's the babe?"

"Charlie rolled her eyes, "Chicks before dicks, asshat," she said pushing him out the door.

"H-he doesn't remember me," Dean sobbed.

"Well to be fair he doesn't remember anyone he met after the age of six."

"Not helping!"

"I'm sorry."

Charlie pulled him down into a hug and rubbed his back.

"I just got him back. And now I lost him again."

"Why didn't you tell him the truth?"

"Because he has the mind of a six year old! For all I know he'll reject me."

They went back into the room after Dean had calmed down.

The Novaks were pulling out their phone and showing Cas pictures.

Hannah walked up to Cas. "Hi Cassie. I'm the baby you were talking about. I'm Hannah."

"Hi Hannah. It's nice to meet you."

Hannah then started crying. Anna comforted her.

Michael showed him a picture of him and Cas at Michael's graduation.

Cas gasped. "I remember you Mikey. You're 24 and you still live with us. 'Cause that's totally normal."

Everyone turned to look at them.

"What else do yuk remember?"

"I just remember everything I knew about you."

Lucifer showed him a picture of Cas sitting in his shoulders. Cas took in a sharp breath. "Luci. Twenty three is not better than twenty four."

Everyone laughed.

Anna triggered his memories of her when she brought over the stupid macaroni picture frame they made together for Becky when Cas was 11 and she was 10.

Chuck triggered his memories of both him and Becky when they showed him the picture of the three of them on his 16th birthday. Cas had cake all over his face.

Gabe triggered his memories of him when he showed him a picture from last year. Gabe had candy all stuck on his hair, Cas and Sam were pulling on both sides of his head. That is how he remembered Sam as well.

Charlie brought him the Harry Potter shirt she got him for his seventeenth birthday. When he remembered her she launched herself at him screaming, "DON'T EVER SCARE ME LIKE THAT AGAIN!"

Meg said, "Hey Clarence," and he instant remembered her. He looked at picture after picture of him and Dean but he still couldn't remember him. No one told him that they were together.

Later that day Cas asked Dean, "How did I know you again?"

Dean paused, "We were friends," but he broke down and started crying so he left the room.

"I takes it we weren't just friends?"

Sam shook his head, "He loves you."

Cas looked thoughtful for a moment, "Did I love him?"

"Very much," Charlie said sadly.

Cas looked down at the sheet for a minute. "Why can't I remember him?"

"I don't know."

Cas shook his head sadly. "Tell him I'm sorry."

Sam and Charlie looked at each other for a minute before nodding.

"Yeah okay."
