Chapter 4

The life out of me has been swept away by the tears that have fallen from my poor eyes,

My hurt and pain I wish will all go away which I know it never will, it'll always stay,

I think about you often, all the good times we could have been spending together but it ends all the same, I'll never be able to see you soon and that's how it'll remain.

I'm missing you harder than I thought I could and it seems as if this is all I do.

Cry and cry repeatedly because you were mine. And I didn't get to say my last good bye.

I don't want pity all I need is time.

Flash back~

Jae's P.O.V

I was at my locker fumbling with the books in my hands trying to make it to class as I heard a familiar voice behind me. An annoying voice at that. It was Ray, the one who had trying to get with me for the last two months. I rolled my eyes as I heard him come nearer.

"Well if it isn't the famous Jaelyn" he says. I could feel the smirk on his face as he bent down to my height and gave me a peck on the cheek. "Hey hun😘" he says.

I froze surprised he kissed me. I barely even knew the guy! "Can you not" I stated giving him a hard glare and resting my books on the shelf of the locker.

He put his arm around my shoulder and grabbed my books in the other.

"You can't resist me." He says laughing.

I couldn't help but laugh along with him because he was so charming. We got to class and he decided to sit in front of me. He gave me my books and I decided I wouldn't be so rude.

"Thank you" I said nicely.

"No problem."

Class had began and I could say that I was bored. But, I couldn't risk letting my GPA drop just because I didn't feel like doing the work. I lazily took notes and doodled on the side of my notebook.

The teacher sat down at his desk as he passed out the worksheet for the lab and explained the directions.

Ray then turned to me.

"You can stop acting like you're paying him any attention now."

"Shut up" I said.

How did he know I wasn't paying attention, I wondered. But then again I looked around and all I saw were people falling asleep or on their phones. I was probably the only one even looking at the board.

"You know it's true." He said chuckling.

"So do you wanna partner up or nah?" He says.

"I don't care." I stated. Even though I was actually waiting for him to ask. He was interesting and I liked to hear what he had to say. He was pretty funny to me.

He sat across my desk helping me. I had no idea he was actually smart. For a class clown I was surprised. He helped me with the project until the bell rang. Everyone else was passing out into the hall.
