Levi's POV:
I stormed out of Eyebrow's office and almost crashed into Hanji. "Dammit four-eyes, get out of the way, I'm busy," I growled
"Well, sounds like someone went to bed a little too late last night!" Hanji snickered but moved out of the way. My bad moods are legendary around here and you do not want to be caught by me while I'm in one. Hanji quickly slid into Erwin's office and I left to go right to a tea kettle. One cup of black tea later and I was already planning this assignment. It won't do to just put a bullet in the back of this man's skull. I'll have to make it look like an accident. Fortunately, I'm more than capable of framing murders. But before I do anything I'll have to scout out his apartment.
. . . . . . . . Time skip: one hour . . . . . . . .
It took me about an hour to get to the man's apartment. Really, it should only have taken me forty-five minutes but there was an infuriating amount of traffic. I sat in the car and looked around. The car itself was filthy. I pulled out my phone to check where the nearest CVS was. Not only would I be able to get the necessary cleaning products but also I could get an idea of the neighborhood. As I got out of the car I thought about the file. Eren Jaeger was 170 cm tall (lucky bastard) weighed about 63 kg, and according to to his description he has chestnut colored hair, tan skin, and bright teal eyes.
"Bright teal eyes, huh" I grunted to myself. "Well, bright teal eyes look your last. You've got the Survey Corps coming for you." I looked around at the shabby apartment complexes that lined either side of the street I was walking on. I really would hate living here.
It only took my about fifteen minutes to get supplies, then walk back to the car. After meticulously cleaning every square inch of the grey Nissan Sentra I looked up at the dull apartment that belonged to none other than Eren Jaeger. Eren's work hours ranged from around 5:30 in the morning to 12:00 in the afternoon at a local restaurant. I had around half an hour to inspect his apartment.
Getting in didn't require much effort. All locks are more or less the same when it comes to rooms like these. It took one piece of thick wire, a paper clip and a lot of swearing. Once I was in I looked around and cringed. I began to count off the most noticeable things that were simply unacceptable.
First, his bed was unmade.
Second, dirty clothing was scattered around the floor and tossed into meaningless piles.
Third, suitcases and boxes filled with random items lined the walls. It seemed the man recently moved in. I dared not enter the bathroom to afraid of what horrors I might find in there. I walked over to the bedside table while resisting the urge to straighten things out as I walked. I found only one alarm clock lying on the ground and a picture resting on the table. I didn't pick it up for fear of leaving finger prints but it was clear who Eren really was. He was grinning like an idiot, squashed between a girl with a red scarf and a scowl and a boy with a blonde bob cut and sky-blue eyes.
There was only one problem: Eren Jaeger was just a teenager
Eren's POV
I dashed out of the doors of The Wall Maria restaurant and cafe . Thank God that was over. Putting up with horse-face Jean for that long was no easy task. Especially with all the outside issues I had to take care of right now. I groaned inwardly. Great, and I'd been hoping to forget all about my looming death for as long as I could. Just as I pulled open the door to my apartment my phone buzzed. It was a call from Mikasa. I hit receive immediately.
"Mikasa! Thank God, I haven't heard from you in ages!" I gasped breathlessly into the phone immediately.
"Eren.."Mikasa began
"Are you ok?" I asked
"Of course I'm OK!" Mikasa cried. "What about you? You never called or texted me or Armin! You had us worried sick! You Promised that everyday you would call us and tell us that you where fine but we haven't heard from you in days!"
"Mikasa!" I interrupted. "I'm fine."Don't get me wrong Mikasa is a great sister and one of the most important people in my life but she could be a little overprotective. But then again maybe overprotective is what I needed right now.
"Well, I'm coming over to your apartment tonight for dinner." Mikasa paused, then added, "we have some things to talk about," I moaned inwardly. As soon as I could forget about that the better.
"Of course," I said grinning into the phone "Mikasa es su casa." My grin got even wider when I heard her groan on the other end.
