I awoke with a start with another nightmare. Just this one was more worrying.
*Flash Back to Dream*
I woke and stood up to look out the window. It was about 2:30 a.m and as i gingerly look around the curtain, i wasn't ready for what i saw. Across the road there was a tall man, stood in a mask, staring at my house. What was even worse was what was next to him. There was a body, still, lifeless, pale and mangled. I could make out that the body slumped against the bin was my best friend, Andrew. His blonde, fluffy hair was now matted and crimson and his eyes were opened with shock. One eyeball was hanging out of its eye socket. One of his arms looked broken and twisted. In some places the flesh and skin was missing and you could see the muscles and bone. One of his legs were missing. Torn off.  There was a hole by his heart. That was it. I couldn't look anymore. Tears of anger, fear and sadness were welling in my eyes, threatening to fall. I quickly moved behind my curtain and used my phones flashlight instead of my light because i didn't want the man across the road to know i'm awake. I walk into the kitchen and there he was just standing, staring into my house by my window. I screamed.
*End of Dream*
I slid my legs out of my marshmallow like bed and looked out my window. Nothing. No proof of my dream happened. No blood or marks.
I stood up and opened my wardrobe, every step my feet sinking into my grey fluffy carpet. I got dressed and walked throughout my bungalow. I got myself some breakfast and got ready to go out to the shops.
