Madelyn's POV
Being a princess is not easy. You have to please everyone, wear "princess attire" and act like a royal snob. If I could chose my life, I would NOT chose to be a princess. But, here I am, almost to the point when I will become a queen, in charge of the entire island of Lilabee. "Madelyn! Snap out of it!" Miss Lydia snaps. "Sorry miss Lydia." I reply. I snap out of my day dream and focus on how to be a better ruler, leader, and queen, taught by yours truly, Miss Lydia. "You have to be brave, kind, and clever! Do you understand that miss Turner?" She says in her British accent that I have learned to ignore on 'accident'. "Yes ma'am." "Good. Well you best be off getting ready for the ball in honor of your 14th birthday. Go on!" I leave the room, the dungeon-like prison were I have to have my lessons in the mid-mornings. To my room I go.
