Chapter 1: Everyday Life

(Ring!!!!) - Alarm " Ugh.."

" OMG!! I'm late for work! " Ariana rushes to the bathroom and gets ready for work.

" Hey, where are you? " asked Sam- Ariana's best friend.

" I'm about to go to work " Ariana texted back.

" Aren't you going to the carnival? " Sam texted.

" Sorry, but I can't " Ariana texted back.

Ariana runs to her bike and calls Sam. " Come on pick up! " talking to her phone. " I'm so sorry Sam, I really can't go" texted Ariana. She parks her bicycle and locks it to the pole. " Morning Miss Jocelyn" said Ariana. " You're late again! This is the 4th time this week. When are you going to start going to work early? When you're fired? " said Jocelyn. " I'm truly sorry, it won't happen again Miss Jocelyn. " Just make sure that this would be the last time " said Jocelyn.

" Wrap all the cookies! " said the baker. " Yeah, wait " said Ariana while getting her phone.

" Ok, but promise to go with me tomorrow" - message from Sam.

" Promise " - Ariana texted back.

" C'mon people! Work, work, work! " said Jocelyn.

" Gotta go wrap cookies now. Bye! " Ariana texted back.

" Where's Imari? " Ariana asked the baker. " She's on a day off " said the baker. "What? I'm gonna work alone today?! " she freaked out. " No, there is someone who's gonna take her place later " said the baker. " Oh, ok. Good " she said.

" Who are these cookies and cupcakes for by the way? " asked Ariana. " These are for Didi Rico " said the baker. " She lives there, at the 30th street " the baker added.

As soon as Ariana finsihed wrapping the cookies and cupcakes, she checker her phone.

"Could you please buy me some Tubba Chicken? " -message from Sam.

"Kk, just go and meet me at my house. Lets watch The Walking Dead when I get home" Ariana replyed.

Ariana looks out the window and sees the dark clouds. " It's going to rain" she said to herself. She grabs her raincoat, and the cookies and cupcakes. " Good thing that the 30th street is just a block away from the bakery." she said to herself as she got out of the bakery.

(Ding-dong)- Doorbell. The door opens and the girl (Didi Rico) noticed that Ariana was soaking wet. " Hi! Miss Rico, here are the cookies and cupcakes you ordered " said Ariana. "Dear, you're soaking wet" said Miss Rico with a gentle voice. " It is ok Miss Rico " said Ariana. Didigets the boxes ang gives Ariana a tip. " Thank you! " said Ariana. " You deserve it, for your hardwork " said Didi. " Thanks " Ariana said. " Again "she added quickly.

Ariana runs with caution to the bakery, then she sees Clary. Ariana always admired Clary because of her red curly hair, brown eyes and great great personality. " Mom gotta go now" Clary told her mom as she rides at he back of Jace's motorcycle. Ariana stared at Jace as Jace waves at her. " Who is she? " asked the curious Jace. " She is Ariana, one of my dearest friend " said Clary.

Ariana was still staring at Jace, she had a secret crush on Jace - he has blue eyes, blonde hair and he is so hot!

I noticed that she's been staring at me" said Jace. " Don't tell her that I told you but, she likes you " said Clary. " Pffft, who wouldn't? I'm stunningly attractive " said Jace as he boosts his motorcycle. " Shut up " Clary giggled.

Jace winks at Ariana as she blushes. Suddenly her phone started ringing.

A- " Ugh! Wrong timing. "

S- " Why? "

A- " Jace just winked at me! "

S- " Wow! That's great but I don't care. "

A- " You're so kind. "

S- " Where is my Tubba Baby? "
