"Hi honey, I'm home." Grace said.
"How was work?" Frank said.
"Well it was the same as it always is. That funny old man, Mr. Jones. He seems to always seems to find a way to make someone laugh." Grace said.
"That is true. What about Rodney?" Frank said.
"Rodney who?" Grace responded.
"Rodney Jenkins. The one who dropped you off." Frank replied.
"Oh he's good." Grace said.
While turning around Frank chuckled to take to a seat in his reclining chair.
Just then, David and Kayla had walked in to see their mother was home from working a very long shift. Their father sitting in his recliner with a look on his face that wasn't happy or anything but, negative. Which gave David and Kayla a scared look on their face.
Their father was a man known to be feared. And this time he was seen to be feared as a even more scary person.
"Let me get this straight, Rodney is good enough to give you a ride home?!" Frank said angrily.
Frank was at war with Rodney Jenkins, so much that he didn't want any of his friends or family members to even look at him.
"It was just a ride home. " Grace said with a little bit of a fear in her voice.
"Is that so?!" Frank said while raising his voice and questioning Grace.
Frank reached down onto the other side of his chair. You then heard, a clicking sound.
David and Kayla had this shocked look on their face. As David started to hold Kayla, and tried to get their father to calm down.
"I didn't do anything. All I did wa-"
BOOM!
Blood was all on the walls. David and Kayla started to cry as they ran to their mother. There she laid with her eyes opened and a hole through her forehead. For that image of their mother would be stuck in their head forever. The look on Grace's face made her children run back into their room.
As they ran, Frank laughed while standing with a beer in his hand. His life and his children's life would never be the same after that.
