Dared

Chapter 2.

Kaelie's POV

I could barely braid my hair since my hands were shaking from the thought of seeing Ayden. His hair is just perfectly swooped and gelled to perfection!

I continued braiding my hair while dreaming about me and Ayden......

I heard a knock , it must be Naomi! I screamed  that she could come in, and I heard her footsteps getting closer and closer to my room .

"Hi!!"
"Hey" I replied.

" I can't believe he and the guys are also gonna be there!"Naomi exclaimed.

" I know!"

" How did you even figure out there are going to be there?" She asked.

Smiling , I said Brandon

Brandon is my older brother that is one year older then me . He's on the football team too, so I get all the gossip on what's going on. And fun facts about Ayden.

"Nice! Almost done? I wanna be there before Ayden is."

" Yeah yeah hold on".

I finished applying some mascara and I grab my bag , putting some extra mascara in and lipgloss, just in case . I have my reasons.

I locked the door, and took a deep breath. I'll be fine, it's just Ayden. Then again , it's Ayden. Just the thought of him made my legs go jelly! Whenever I imagine being with him, I always think nothing could go wrong , he's the perfect guy! Looks, status , and personality. He has it all!

I'm so happy I'm friends with Naomi! She may be my only friend , but that doesn't stop me from having the best high school experience of my life .

Naomi's more of the rebel and party girl type , while I'm more of a quiet but creative girl .  I like to keep to my self . Unless I'm with Naomi. And I think this works perfectly . Naomi gives me my fun when I need it. She always says I need to have more fun and party with her , but I'm not into that . I also I help stay in line so nothing bad can happen.  I will do anything for Naomi, but sometimes , her rebel inside of her gets better of her. Which is why I'm here to help her. I don't want anything to happen to her.

We left my hous and started walking along the leaf covered sidewalks to the cafe . Naomi and I are both anxious too see Ayden.  I can see her fiddle with her fingers, she always does that when she's nervous. Which is why I find that  surprising. She's so outgoing! But , back to Ayden.His eyes are  so blue!! It takes a lot of self control to not just stare into the oceans of his eyes .

We turn the corner , and see the cafe . It's a little brown cafe , with a mini outdoor seating section . The outside seating is covered in rich fall colors and leaves scatter the ground . Naomi and I love to sit outside , but it's a little too chilly at the moment . We do see couples and groups of friends hanging outside and are  huddled  around their hot drinks.

The door chimes as we walk in. My eyes quickly scan the cafe to see if Ayden and his crew is here . I see Naomi do the same . He's not here yet. Phew. That would've been awkward.

Me and Naomi sigh at the same time.

This made us laugh really hard , getting weird stares from strangers. Which just makes us laugh even harder .

Then we walk to get in line to get our coffee, still giggling from our moment . I smile at the light but buzzing atmosphere and the smell of coffee everywhere . It's the perfect day , nothing could go wrong ...
