She was crying again,
her sobs echoing through the
halls.Suddenly she was in my arms,
and I couldn't help but
tilt her head up. My eyes
gazing at her quivering
pale lips.Our faces got closer and
closer, our lips barely inches
from each other.My eyes shot open
as I straighten up on my bed.
My breathing was
slightly heavy and my eyes
watery.My fingertips touched
my lips as I stared
at nothingness.It was just a dream.
A dumb dream.
