MLP - The story of I.

  I am an alicorn that lives on the coast of Equestria. One night, around midnight, I was walking through the woods when I heard this strange noise. I couldn't quite make out what it was, but I was oddly attracted to it, so I proceeded to follow it's source. As the noise grew, I started to make out a little of what is was. It sounded to be a pony in distress, so I quickly ran closer! When I got to the location of the noise, I saw a dark figure in the shadows behind a pony that looked to be in a lot of pain. When I went to help the hurt pony, I heard someone say "Don't help this wretched animal, she got what she deserved." Suddenly, I felt a chill down my spine just as an alicorn walked out of the shadows. "I am Nightmare Moon!" She says "Princess of the Night! Sister of Celestia!" When she said this, I was scared, but at the same time, amazed" I was in the presence of such a powerful being. I asked her what the hurt pony has done, but Nightmare only told me that it was too dreadful to even speak of. As I was leaving, Nightmare said, "Wait! I sense something in you." I was so confused. "You have a certain sense" she said "a powerful sense. You could prove useful to me." Intrigued, I asked, "How?" "I sense some very strong magical power within you, but I will not say more until you prove to be loyal to me." She responded. I asked, "Well how can I prove it?" Nightmare grinned. "so you're interested? Very well, I need you to go to Canterlot, sneak into Celestia's castle, and steal an orb that Celestia took from me sometime ago. This orb contains very powerful magic, strong enough to destroy Equestria entirely if harnessed properly. With this kind of power, we could control EVERYTHING!" I was scared for a bit, but then I thought about it. "Everything?" I asked. "Everything." She responded. I accepted the task, then she responded with, "Then meet me here, with the orb at midnight in exactly one week." Nightmare then flew away, saying she had errands she had to do. When I got home, I went to go to sleep, but I couldn't stop thinking about the request that Nightmare Moon asked me to do. Next thing I knew, the sun was coming up.

The Next Day

"WAKE UP! WAKE UP!" Yelled Rainbow Dash, "YOU'LL BE LATE FOR THE BIG DAY!" "*Yawn* What big day?" I asked. Dash responded with "The day I show the Wonderbolts why they should accept me into their academy!" Rainbow Dash is always so full on energy. She's the fastest pony in ponyville, but if you'd her, she's probably claims to be the fastest in Equestria. Very boastful she is, but a great friend. "So where are we going?" I asked. "Don't you remember? Today's the day for tryouts to get into Wonderbolt Academy!" enthused Rainbow, "I'm going to win that race and finally be apart of the Wonderbolt!" From there, we went on our way to gather the others and head to the Academy. The whole journey there, I couldn't think straight about how I was going to obtain the orb, or even if I'll be able to get it in time. We finally arrived, but to our surprise, somepony who we'd not expect to be there, was standing there, dead center of the group.
