Something about College Showers

Imagine having an unplanned duet in a college shower with Josh

All I wanted was to shower. But no, I had to finish a project that was due tomorrow.

Plus, my professor kept me late to tell me about a new club that was forming.

I sat in my dorm room slaving away at my desk. I was so close to finishing. I just needed to finish this last paragraph.

"Finally!" I exclaimed, throwing my head back. I had finally finished. I packed up my project and put it next to my bed for me to take it tomorrow morning.

"Finally. Shower time." I love showers. I use it to just be alone. I know it's weird but it's just peaceful.

I grab a towel, my bathroom bag, and my pajamas.

I walk to the bathrooms on my hall. I push open the door to find no one else there.

"Thank god." I say relieved, wanting to be the only one.

I sat my clothes down on a bench outside of the shower I was in. I hung up my towel and took off clothes. I stepped into the shower and turned on the water.

I could hear someone in the boys bathroom taking a shower.

One of my favorite things to do in the shower was to sing. I would always sing my favorite song at the moment.

I start to sing and I actually sounded quite decent today, despite my earlier stress.

I gasped. I sang that line and someone started singing with me. It was probably the guy taking a shower in the boys bathroom. He continued to sing despite the fact that I was still in shock. I shook my head and started singing along.

Even though his voice was faint, we actually sounded good together. As we continued our duet the louder we started to sing.

This is crazy. I don't even know who that is, what he looks like, or how old he is. But I can tell that were going to be friends after this.

We both made sure to nail that last note. Once I finished washing out the soap from my hair. I shut of the water. I dried of with my towel and put on my sweatpants and tank top. I put my hair into a messy bun and opened the bathroom door.

Just as I did that the door for the boys bathroom opened.

I looked over at my partner. He was tall, had brown hair and a beard.

I waved and said, "Hey. I'm Leah."

"I'm Josh."
