Jasmine tapped on the door of their hotel room. Elsa, wearing an angelic blue silk robe, answered the door. Her hair, untouched, came down in wavy platinum tangles to her shoulders.
"Hey, Elsa. Are you feeling any better?" She asked. Elsa wasn't feeling good, so she decided not to swim and wait until tomorrow.
"Well, yes. I suppose. I'm tired, even after a couple hours of rest. Would you mind getting me a cup of hot tea?"
"Yeah, I can do that. I hope you feel better tomorrow," she responded. Jasmine filled up one of the provided cups with warm water, and added the earl grey teabag.
Elsa sat up, wrapped in a blanket, sitting with legs crossed over each other, waiting on her bed.
The cozy white blankets welcomed her.
"Here you go," Jasmine said, handing her the mug of tea.
Some would say that she was confident and tough, which is true, but her soft side became evident around Elsa.
"Thank you!" Elsa said, rosy blush circulating through her cheeks.
"You're welcome. But, aren't you hot, wrapped up in all those blankets and the robe?" Jasmine inquired.
Elsa looked away a little bit.
"Oh, no. No. I'm fine."
"Really?" Jasmine's intuition led her to believe otherwise.
"No. I mean, yes. I'm perfectly fine, Jas. Don't worry about me."
"Elsa. Are you insecure or something? Seriously. Tell me. It's okay," Jasmine reassured her.
Elsa stared, trusting, into Jasmine's warm golden brown eyes. Jasmine loved her. And Elsa loved Jasmine, in return. Elsa could trust her. Of course she could.
"Okay. Well, yes. I'm sort of insecure about you seeing me in pajamas or anything less than that. It's rather silly, to be afraid of that. But I am."
Jasmine beamed at her.
"Is that it? Don't worry about that. We're girlfriends now! You don't have to be on guard around me, Elsa. I think you're beautiful- no matter what."
Elsa's pale face broke into an angelic smile. Jasmine had nearly gained her full trust at this point.
"Well, okay. I'll get my pajamas on. I'll try to be comfortable." Elsa carefully climbed out of her bed and entered the bathroom. She put on a lacy lavender nightgown and went through her evening routine.
Eventually, she left the bathroom and found Jasmine, reading a fashion magazine on her bed.
"Do you think I look okay," Elsa whispered, her hands clasped.
Jasmine examined her. She looked so pale and pink, and she found that adorable.
"You're as beautiful as ever," Jasmine assured her.
Elsa silently smiled and blushed, bashfully looking down at the floor.
"Thank you, Jasmine. You're beautiful too. And so much more than that, I can't explain it."
She quietly slid into her covers.
"Do you want to sit over here, instead? I could use the cuddling. No pressure," Jasmine said with a laugh.
"Sure. I could use the cuddling too."
Elsa got up and sank into Jasmine's warm embrace. She smelled like incense, tropical fruit, and cinnamon.
Jasmine leaned on her, and Elsa held her tight. The embrace was lovely.
"You're a good cuddler," she said to Elsa.
"Thank you. Sorry for my awkwardness. I don't have much romantic experience, so..."
Jasmine just smiled and laughed a bit.
"It's okay. I think it's cute. And for someone that doesn't know much, you're doing just fine!" Jasmine said.
"I hope so," Elsa drew in a breath, for courage. And then she reached out her hand to stroke Jasmine's cheek.
Her hand was soft and rounded. Jasmine's strong, bold cheekbone met this with a good kind of contrast.
"Thank you. For everything," Elsa said, so sincere.
Jasmine leaned towards her in a daze of romanticism.
"Yeah... Of course. Goodnight, love."
"Goodnight." Elsa whispered back.
