Chapter 2 ...Finding out

It's November now and the leaves are falling,it's starting to get colder by the minute. I went outside to fill the wood stove when someone came right behind me and said,"hey, he said. Aaahh,I screamed. Ow, I think u broke my ear drum,he said laughing a little. Sorry I didn't now it was u",I said. "Its ok", he said. We both smiled and laughed. After I was done putting wood in the stove me and Luke went inside and ate and watched a movie. A couple hours later... When Luke was about to leave Grace called saying "Meet me outside your house" I said ok and walked out the door with Luke and we hugged and said goodbye. He walked to his pick up and drove off. I waited outside until Grace got there and I was so cold. As soon I got in her car I turned up the heat. We drove about 3 miles until we got to woods. We parked in this parking spot she made. The parking spot was so cool it was made out of rocks, twigs, and gravel. The twigs and rocks were on the out side (like the yellow parking lines at a store or something) and gravel on the ground. When we get out of the car I tell Grace this is so cool. We started to walk on this trail that she made out of stepping stones all the way to this bridge. As we walked across Grace explained this is the place she's been working on for 4 months now and she just finished yesterday. When we got to this sign that said Terabithia I knew what it was. I started crying and I hugged her and I said,"We tried to build this when we were kids. I remember that, that's why I built it all by myself so I could surprise u, Grace said. This is the best surprise ever", I said still crying. We played in Terabithia for almost 3 hours. It was so fun that I will remember this forever. Oh yeah I forgot to tell u Grace,Chase,and I cannot drive cause we are still 13 so their parents and my parents drove us almost everywhere.
