The Worst Summer Ever

First Day of Camp

Kayla's POV
I got up and we had packed the car last night so we could wake up, change, leave for the three hour drive, and she eat break on the way there. We walked down the stairs and everyone was waiting.
"Lest go" Amber said
"Calm yourself" Adrain said
"But we can't wait to get there." Brook said
"You can and will wait." Ethan said
"You such a good brother." I said sarcastically
"At least to can see." He said
"I can see." I said
"Not without glasses." Adrain said
"Excuse me but they are for reading only." I said
"Then why are you wearing them?" Ethan asked
"Because I want to." I said
"So that's why Harrison calls you a nerd." Hazel asked
I nodded
"Harrison has a nickname for you?" Ethan askes
"Harrison gonna call you nerd the whole summer...I hope you know that." Adrian said
"How if we're not aloud to have phones?" I asked
"He's gonna be there." Ethan said like it was obvious
"Well good for him." I said
"Oh savage" Adrian said
"Adrain...shut the fu-front door." Hazel said
"Nice" Ethan said
She rolled her eyes.
"Ready kids?" Hazel's mom asked
"Yes" the six of us said

Rina's POV
I got to camp and it was noon. I said bye to my mother. I said waved to Britt as she ran to the little kids.
"Ew your here." Harrison said
"Don't acre me." I said
"Where's the nerd at?" Casey asked walking over with someone
"Who?" Cooper asked
"Cooper?" I asked
"No it's Vincent." Casey said
"Fuck off" I said (A/N yea theres gonna be cursing..they're in high school.)
"She wears glasses." Harrison said
"For reading" I said
"Oh so I won't get to see her in her glasses ever again?" Casey asked
"I don't know" I said
We started walking to the area we were supposed to be.
"Well she is kind of your best friend should you know what if she's wearing glasses?" Harrison asked
"Yea..but I wasn't with her this morning...plus she not gonna be her till like three." I said
"Wait what?" Cooper asked
"When she drops her brother and sister off coming here." Harrison said
I looked at him.
"I need to talk to this for one second." I said
He grabbed my arm and pulled me away

"Look. Y mothers here so Cooper, Casey, and I still have a chance to leave, so don't say anything about Kayla being here." He said
I nodded
"When is you mom leaving?" I asked
"In like an hour." He said
"Again they should be here at three." I said
"Okay that good." He said
We walked back to them. Harrison's phone started ringing. He took it out.
"Who is Nerd glasses emoji, heart eyes emoji, and ghost emoji?" Casey asked (🤓😍👻)
"Kayla" I said
He answered it.
"Is it the nerd on Ethan?" Harrison asked
"It's Ethan and Adrian." Ethan said
"Good" Casey mumbled
I smacked the back of his.
"I swear Ethan James if I come back and your on my phone you dead." Kayla yelled
"Too bad...we're on the phone with Harrison." Adrain yelled
There was a thud.
"Nope" Adrian said
"Triggered" Ethan said
"Quick lock all the fire before she comes back." Adrain said
The sound of locking a door happened.
"What was that thud?" Cooper asked
"Brooklyn got out of the car and hit her head." Ethan said
"And your not gonna do anything about it?" I asked
"Excuse me but do I know you?" Ethan asked
"It's Rina dumbass." I said
I"I don't know any Rina's I sorry." Ethan said
Cooper and Casey covered their smiles. I took Harrison's phone
"I don't care if you come here or now if you ignore me I will beat your ass." I said
"Is that a challenge little girl?" Ethan asked
"Yes" I said
"It's on" he said
"Good" I said and gave back to Harrison and walked off

*3:00*
Rina's POV
We finished and I got up and walked to Harrison, Cooper, and Casey.
"Why are you telling me this now?" Cooper asked
"Because she's gonna be here soon and I don't want you to feel awkward when she's here." Harrison said
"Why didn't you tell me earlier?" Cooper asked
"I know you Cooper you would of wanted to leave camp." Harrison said
He sighed
"I'm confused" Casey said
"Because you were being yourself and didn't go to school yesterday." I said
He rolled his eyes.
"I can't believe I never noticed." Cooper said
"What do you mean?" I asked
"I never noticed she liked me." Cooper said
"Who?" Casey asked
"Kayla?" I said
"Oh" he said
"Did you know?" Cooper asked
"Um I hate the girl and she hates me...we don't get a damn about each other." Casey said
"Wow" Carson said
"Oh shut up" Casey said
The door opened. We all looked and Dominic was standing there. He walked over to us.
"I forgot you were coming." I said
He rolled his eyes.
"No words?" Carson asked
"I'm not talking to that." Dominic said
"Why do you two hate each other?" Cooper asked
"It's not her I hate it her idiot friend...Hazel." He said
"Was a join a club?" Harrison asked
"Sure I would love to." Dominic said
Harrison pushed me off the bench and Dominic at down.
"I hate you all." I said
They all laughed. The counselor came out and it was time to leave. We all got up.

Kayla's POV
"Get up we're here." Ethan said
I groan and got out of the car. I saw a group of kids walking out of the main cabin.

Rina's POV
"Hey look they're here." Harrison said
Ethan was dragging Kayla by her arm. They walked by us. Casey was laughing his ass off. Kayla flipped him off. He laughed even harder. Hazel walked by with Adrian.
"Dammit" Dominic mumbled
Brooklyn and Amber walked by.
"Brook" Harrison said
She looked at us. He told her to come to us.
"What?" She asked
"No hug?" Harrison asked
She hugged him.
"Who is this third grader?" Dominic said playfully
"I'm in fifth grade." She said
"Since when?" Dominic asked
"Yesterday" she said
"Did you get in trouble this year?" Carson asked
"No but Kayla did." Brook said
"Went did she do?" Carson asked
"She didn't wear her glasses to school and she had exams and failed them all." Ethan said
"Yea what he said." Brook said
"Speaking of glasses...where is she?" Harrison asked
"I don't know she was walking to slow." Ethan said
"But you were dragging her." Cooper said
"I let her go when we go to the cabins." He said
Adrain and Hazel walked over.
"Your sister might be heartbroken, but she can get over it easily." Adrain said
"What do you mean?" Ethan asked
He pointed behind us. Kayla was talking with a boy. She blushed and looked at us.
"That's cute she's flirting with her ex." Cooper said
"Justin's here?" Dominic asked
"Yea Kayla is talking to him right now." Carson said

Kayla's POV
"Look are you okay?" Justin asked
"Huh.....yea." I said
He nodded
"Justin" a girl yelled
"I gotta go my girlfriend calling me." He said
"Bye" I said
He walked off. I looked straight and everyone was looking at me. I got up and walked to them.
"What was that about?" Harrison asked
"Nothing" I said
"Then why did you blush?" Rina asked
"Because he was being nice." I said
Cooper raised eyebrow.
"Why did Brooklyn tell you?" I asked Dominic
She ran away.
"That you got in trouble for failing your exam." Ethan said
"The one day I'm not at school, she's forget her glasses." Cooper said
"You haven't seen her face without glasses on?" Ethan asked
"None of us have...expected Ethan." Hazel said
"I find that hard to believe." Ethan said
"Is true" Rina said
Adrain nodded
"I don't care she's still gonna look like an ugly rat." Casey said
I smacked the back of his head.
"She never takes them off." Hazel said
"But we're you with her when she was staking the test?" Dominic asked
"Because I can't see shit when I take them off." I said
"I thought you said they're reading glasses?" Carson asked
"Those are the black ones." Ethan said
"That didn't help us at all." Adrain said

*fire pit*
They lit the fire. I walked to everyone. Harrison pushed Cooper off the bench.
"Seat here" Harrison said
Cooper got up and walked away instead of talking to me. I sighed and sat down. Harrison lightly elbowed me.
"It's okay" he said
"No it's not he won't even look at me."  I said
"I know I've been watching him." He said
I sighed
"Stop stressing over it." Harrison said
"I mess up our friendship." I said
"Kay" he said (her nickname)
"We don't talk to each other anymore." I said
"Kay" he said
"We won't sit together ever again." I said
"Kayla"
"He'll forget I exis-
"Calm down, and him forgetting who you are...that's not happen you guys known each other more than twelve years." Harrison said
"B-
"Kayla your freaking over nothing...sure me may not talk to you, look at you, be he still loves you, he loves you like a sister." Harrison said (A/N that was deep)
I nodded and I hugged him and messed up my hair.
"Have a good night sleep kid." He said
I nodded and let go. He got up and helped me. We walked to our cabins and went in them. I plopped on my bed and Rina and Hazel looked at me.
"Where are we going tomorrow?" I asked
"A waterfall" Rina said
I shrugged and laid back.
